Fake news. I’m going to wait until Patriot Nationalist News reports on this instead of the lame stream media.

The FBI is usually pretty nonpartisan. I still have faith in my government institutions.

@zaryia: the irony is of course that if the FBI were biased (they aren't), it would be in favor of the conservatives, seeing as the FBI is traditionally (and currently, I'd argue) a fairly conservative agency.

Yeah, same. They blunder from time to time, but they are human after all. For the most part I think the majority of our public servants got into it to serve the public.

Is this the bigly report that Trump was anticipating to be historical and hugely damaging to Democrats?

Here's my own conspiracy theory. I believe that a certain foreign nation is trying to undermine our democracy by causing doubt in our great institutions. So I will continue to have faith in my government institutions.

Only a blind bootlicker says "I still have faith in my government institutions". These are the same institutions that have murdered citizens simply for exposing how corrupt these institutions are.

True that, for example the FBI referred to martin luther king as an abnormal beast, wire tapped his phone calls, and wanted him dead, and even went as far as send fake porno films of him to his wife to ruin his marriage.

What does this have to do with Trump pushing a fake conspiracy theory for years that was confirmed fake yet again today?

Weren't there 2 FBI officials, one of them high-ranking, who texted back and forth how much they hate Trump and that they would never let him become President? The same FBI that refused to indict Hillary after she destroyed communications devices, and bleached tens of thousands of emails AFTER she was subpoenaed for said emails as evidence in their investigation? Yeah, absolutely NO reason to mistrust the FBI.. 😏

Actually, the report stated that they couldn't PROVE bias, but never said there wasn't any. Furthermore the IG report also found the FBI lied on FISA applications, and purposely left out exculpatory evidence (this means evidence that disproves their stated purpose for a FISA warrant) in order to achieve it. Horowitz was also very limited in who he could investigate and what he could investigate. He was limited to existing information, and current employees.

Horowitz has even quoted that he thought he was biased. He never exonerated Strzok or Paige on that matter, just that he couldn't prove it with what he had and the scope and limitations of the investigation. A deeper investigation into the matter wasn't able to take places while Horowitz' investigation was ongoing. Now that his investigation is complete, a full, more complete investigation can begin.

@burntbyhellfire: so you're claiming they are guilty despite there being any evidence of a crime?

I thought this was America, it's innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

What I clearly said is that Horowitz' report didn't exonerate them. Guilt is when you have proof against someone. Exoneration is when you have proof in their favor. Horowitz has neither and his report reflected that.

But even if the report claims they can't prove political motivation, it still clearly outlined a LOT of wrong doing by the FBI.

It's an attempt to question the legitimacy of any investigation of Trump. It may also be an attempt by a foreign government to cause americans to doubt their government and each other.

I've been watching the hearings with Horowitz. His exact words was that the FBI operated someone between absolute incompetence or purposeful misconduct, or somewhere in between, and that it would be hard to look at the facts and think all that has been done was done by mistake. He also says that some individuals have been referred to the DOJ for investigation and prosecution.

Not so much. Horowitz didn't have the power to make decisions and prosecutions, his job was to collect facts, and submit them in a report, and refer thinks to the DOJ for further investigation and prosecution, which he as done. The next step is for the DOJ who had to wait till this report was finished, to take those facts, and with the power to the DOJ, get the necessary warrants, call in witnesses Horowitz didn't have access to, and make indictments. According to Horowitz he has already sent evidence to the DOJ that would be sufficient enough for indictments, and according to the DOJ, a real investigation begins now.

So, if you actually read at least the executive summary, you will learn that the phrase used is:

"...we did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation..."

That is not the same as the widely reported, Watchdog report finds FBI not motivated by political bias.

What the IG is telling us is:

A. They found no documentary evidence, i.e. no one involved was stupid enough to leave an email or other doc that said "I hate Trump so much I'm going to lie to the FISA court". Gee, big surprise no one was that blatantly obvious.

and

B. They found no testimonial evidence, i.e. no one they interviewed was stupid enough to admit in an interview with the IG, that they were politically motivated. Given that the IG has no "teeth", i.e. he cannot put anyone in legal jeopardy, is anyone surprised that no one adnitted to being politically motivated?

Things will be different when these folks are faced with a US Attorney that has subpoena power and a grand jury empaneled. The standard for proving an act was motivated by bias does not require a confession, or a specific documented expression of intent.

Once again, Michael Horowitz has proven himself to be an honorable and dedicated IG, and in my opinion, a patriot. He and his team have done a great job of spelling out the facts, and their timeline. It is now up to the AG and the rest of the DOJ, to hold people accountable.

All what I have been saying as well. I guess someone who reads a rag like The Hill could be lead to believe otherwise though.

The question you have to ask and Senator Mike Lee ask these FBI investigators were the best of the best and hand picked why did they intentionally commit 17 instances of changing information or not supplying exculpatory information on the FISA applications? They were either politically motivated or incompetent. I don't think they were incompetent or they would have never reached the positions of authority they did or the FBI has serious problems as a whole.

You don't make that many "mistakes." Any one of which specifically preventing information that would have gotten the FISA application thrown out from being used. Like knowing Pages prior contact with Russians was on behalf of another intelligence agency so he was working as a government informant in that capacity, but oh, let's not tell the judge that we know he's working for us.

I hate having to say told you say. But I told you so.

The IG could only report on what he was shown. During his testimony he did not rule out political bias.

I think you're looking for an excuse, otherwise you wouldn't have made such a ridiculous claim based on me saying I wasn't here before the election.

In my experience it isn't common with alt accounts anymore. Of course you might have just left your old account and started a new one. My experience is that that only happens when your old account is banned.

Otherwise odd to spend 3 years here before even making an account.

What old account are you talking about? I've gone by this name since the first days of the Xbox 360.
