He shouldn't feel disappointment, he should feel shame for backing Trump, encouraging people to vote for him.

one thing I have noticed about The Right they always try to justify a bad behavior simply by saying the other side does it to.
They never even try to take an elevated moral position on anything...ever
Not quite sure what you are talking about.
But my post was a correction since he never backed Trump and therefore hardly can feel ashamed for backing someone he didn´t.

That is bringing your enemies down to your moral level instead of elevating your own position. That does two things, one it says your position is that you should be just as good as your enemies and not better and two it suggests what you are accused of is morally appropriate.
