Be nice to have a balanced budget instead of putting ourselves more in China's debt.

There are maybe five or six people in the entire house who actually care about a balanced budget. Definitely no one in the white house cares.

Partisan politics is nothing but rhetoric. It's just a song and dance to promote the idea that democratic decisions are being made and that there are meaningful discussions being had when in reality the country is being run by globalists.

@Johnny-n-Roger: It's not just the politicians, but voters too. Republican voters will say they are voting for a politician because of spending cuts, but they're really doing it because of tax cuts. They really don't care where the money comes from.

@kittennose: That's an oversimplification of a number of different civics lessons. In this case, our headline can simply be the Carville quote (roughly paraphrased), "It's the economy, stupid."

@kittennose: Not a double standard, different circumstances. That's kind important (ok, not kind of important - crucially important) in economics and, more specifically in this case, their effect on the budget.
