I just can't buy the stupidity. I can't. This has to be a political plant to keep Trump in power or a favor.

Because if it isn't. Yikes.

It doesn't appear that she has announced any intentions to run in 2020.

@Serraph105: Yeah just like before 2016. Just like 2008. She never declared.

Then her columnists and all the news sources that the Clinton's basically own came out and basically laid down the agenda.

Democrats don't really seem to pay attention to really obvious patterns. It's really why your party is where it is. We're just encouraging you to act dumb at this point. Your parties self defeatist ideology is now aligned with it's own actions.

I remember assuming that she would run again in 2016 back in 2012 after Obama had won thinking that it would essentially be her picking up Obama's mantle, that really only she could win for democrats because no one else really had a shot. Of course, that was when she had power and was secretary of state, which is very different from her situation today. I didn't predict Bernie would be in the mix (or Trump for that matter, but then again he ran as republican), but given how the votes played out I was basically right.

Anyways, I predict that she won't be running in 2020. If she does it will be a very dumb/selfish move on her part, and I believe voters won't let her get past the primaries because of that fact. We'll see if I'm right or not in the next two years.

Indeed. If the Democrats know what is good for them they won't encourage her to run. Time to find someone moderate, not a bleeding heart, that shit alienates too many on-the-fencers.

I've heard Clinton described as many things, but never have I heard her labelled a bleeding heart before. Democrats tell me she's a cold, calculating political opportunist. Republicans tell me she leaves bodies in her wake.

Yeah too true, but in the article it said CLinton was going to "reinvent herself" as a liberal progressive.

Nope. Hillary lost because she was bland and moderate and too much of a corporate shill. She was basically a neoconservative running as a Democrat.

They need someone who is liberal and progressive and not a moderate. It's why they would have won easily with Bernie and why they lost with Hillary. Democrats think they lose because they are too liberal and progressive. They actually lose because they are not liberal and progressive enough to energize their voter base and get the massive number of younger and minority voters out to vote. Moderate Democrats who vote straight Democrat in every election will turn out to vote Democrat regardless. But the tens of millions of younger voters won't show up unless someone like Bernie is running. Also those people are invisible on polls.

If they run a bland, moderate candidate in 2020 against Trump, they will definitely lose. Playing it safe doesn't work in the era of Trump.

People also said Trump was too extreme to ever win. And here we are. Bland and moderate is not the way to win against Trump. Bland and moderate will not get the tens of millions of younger voters that Democrats need to win to the polls. You know what will? Pushing for universal healthcare, student loan forgiveness, paid maternity leave, banning of lobbying, gun control, and a $20 minimum wage.

Also whoever goes up against Trump should refuse to debate him as it will just feed his narcissism. The only way to win against a narcissist is not to play.

Don't debate Trump. Don't mention Trump. Just tell the country what your plans are. That's how to beat Trump. Narcissists feed on attention, so starve him of it. I wish the media understood this. They hate him, but they made him happen by giving him so much attention. Just shut up about him.

Pft, she can try.

Candidates who make it to the general election and lose have a hard time winning later presidential elections because they've already been defined in the public eye. Clinton's at an even greater disadvantage because she's been a high profile persona for decades. She will have a very hard time reinventing herself because people already have a heavily ingrained image of who she is already.

If she did attempt to reinvent herself next year as part of a presidential campaign, would you buy it? Me neither.

Trump won all the contrarians, closeted right-wing folks ("Hey I'm cool with gays, I just don't want them anywhere near my kids"), and people Hilary alienated (aka everyone).

Hence why I said why the democrats need a common-sense moderate. The democrats lack authenticity, always appear disingenuous. Barrack was a rare example of a genuine person and I think people thought he was too good to be true a lot of the times because they are used to fake democrats.

Liberals will, for the most part, always vote democrat except for the few who vote third party, who will always vote third party. That's just my observations and my personal experience; I voted third party (sorry) because I feel we need more than a two-party system. Thankfully those numbers are growing, I think the Green Party got a whopping 3%! Up from 2% the previous election :P

Run Hillary Run !!

Run Hillary Run !!

I predict she will not announce. She will not join in the early primaries.

Come late June 2020, when no dem candidate has broken out from the pack, and the party is freaking out over the prospect of going in to their convention without a clear front runner, Hillary will ride in and unify the party, saving the day.

I'm sorry but Hillary is old, she can barely look pretty on camera these days. Bill worn her out, she might as well stay in the nursing home for the next decade.

We need fresh meet in the next President run, not these old fossils.

cant survive 4 more years of trump. Please Hillary. You suck, you are literally a terrible human being and the worst candidate in the history of the US. Stay away. Well, your in luck. There is now enough proof in order to trump to get impeached. I think there will more proof of trump incompetence in the upcoming months with the likes of russiagate, using presidential privileges to improve his business ties with foreign countries and others.

All she really ever wanted was to go down in history as the first female president and securing her legacy was the only thing that mattered to her. She's part of an old archaic republic that will never be able to progress America forward.

Says the guy who voted trump...............

I have no clue who I'd vote for next election since we don't have candidates. I know I'll vote against trump though. I also don't always vote party such as yourself. Hypocrite.

I did not vote for Trump. I would never vote for Trump. I voted for Hillary simply because the alternative was unconscionable. Once again, you are wrong.

Considering your entire first post was wrong......you have quite the hypocrisy there.

What was wrong? And look up hypocrisy. I dont think that word means what you think it means.

I really stand by that Hillary was the worst candidate. She lost to Donald Trump. That sums it up well. Pretty much any other democrat candidate would have clobbered him. She lost to an open racist, mentally unstable, woman hating imbecile. She did that by running one of the worst political campaigns in recent history as well as being an incredibly divisive and unlikable individual. She followed a 2 term popular president and was the incumbent party's candidate. Barack Obama inspired people to vote for him, Hillary made people stay home.

Not defending Clinton here who is indeed terrible, but it's clear now, given the events that have transpired since and his in-party approval rating, that many people LIKE those qualities about him. It may be a feature, not a bug.

Your childish attack on me when I wasn't in the conversation. Seems an obsession TBH. I rarely like politicians on a personal level. They are a necessary evil and I select the one that won't do much damage while in office. And I remember your pro conservative posts before the election.

I also know what hypocrisy means and your post fits.
