Hell, four years ago I asked my FTL, a big Trump supporter, what he wanted from the Trump administration and the first thing he said was that he wanted me and my wife to always be able to get a job and that he didn't really care about anything else.
Now the unemployment rate is just around 8%, double when Trump first took office, I've been unable to get a job, he makes less money than four years ago, and there's a Trump sign in his yard. You can't even bring up voting without him ranting about socialism and how great his work ethic is.
they NEED to try to frame the debate incorrectly as freedom vs. socialism. otherwise they're going to face the harsh reality of having made a terrible voting choice. some folks just aren't prepared for that mentally.
I always say if you are Republican or Democrat you hate the USA because you don’t vote what’s good for the country you only vote to stay loyal to the party

And yet the president has nothing to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. And his base makes excuses for that........so don't bother responding..........we can all guess what you'll say. And I guess that's easy for you up in Canada and not living it.

@Solaryellow: Before Trump lied to everyone about covid, which royally f****ed the economy, he did not personally take away from my job (cute btw), I have been in IT support for the last 10 years.

Currently the Liberal government is being challenged by the Progressive Conservatives in a vote of no confidence (meaning a snap election could be called any day now) due to their mishandling of the virus. But, like the US, provinces are responsible for their citizens healthcare and enforcing guidelines - not the feds.

Yup, they want to whine, period. Either Trumps not doing enough, or he'd be accused of killing jobs if he did what the left CLAIMS they want him to do. Just like on the border they'll piss and moan that he's separating families, but if he didn't, they'd just bleat that he was endangering the children. I get it but I see that word thrown around so much that I don't want it to lose its meaning. Racist are some of the worst people on the planet. Really there is nothing worse than someone that dislikes someone just because of the color of their skin. I just want to label to have real meaning when it is used to describe a person that is truly RACIST!

Trump supporters are sick and tired of the establishment politics in Washington DC both Republican and Democrat, That is why there are never Trumper's they are Republican's that are part of the establishment just like many of the Democrats, that was why the old time Democrats were replaced by the squad members. The big difference is one group wants socialisms and one group wants capitalisms you decide which group you want to belong.
