Do you think Mike Pence will run for president in four years?

Just thinking about this, how do you think Pence feels about becoming president? Is it a serious goal, or is it something that is more like, "If it happens then in happens." Will he run in 2024 if Trump wins? What about if Biden wins this year? Is it still worth being the challenger?

Of course this could be a very different conversation if Biden wins and really is an intentional one term president. In which case Pence would have to consider going against Kamala Harris. Would that be worth it? Pence, unlike Biden, is a younger VP (sorta, he's 61) so he could technically wait 8 years and be younger than both our current candidates, although I would hope that millennials are finally supporting one of their own generation at that point.

Na, forever tarnished by trump, a so called religious right person who does nothing but praise a guy who sleeps with a sex worker while his wife is having his baby is never going to be president.

@tenaka2: Republicans likely won't even choose to remember such things. Or notice them in the present for that matter. Republicans still unabashedly ask what Trump has said or done that is racist.

Let's just get through the next four years first OK? One thing at a time.

We got COVID to deal with, an election to worry about...

Pence is a pitiful wet noodle of a politician whose sole purpose is to entice evangelicals to the ticket of a loudmouth adulterer who can't read the Bible. If Trump spontaneously combusted tomorrow the ticket would be done. No way he even bothers embarrassing himself trying in 2024, much less gets through the primary. Especially not after how bad Coronavirus went for this administration while he was the "task force leader."

@mrbojangles25: Lol, right? Us politics could be vastly different after this election. I need to see the results of this election first, and the reaction to it, to think that far ahead.

Trumpism could be dead after this election. It could be a lasting dominant ideology of the GOP who maintains majority power for a minority group for years.

Pence's presidential chances will hinge foremost on those winds of change.

Yup, it's going to be a really interesting next four months and/or four years.

Not as thrilling as Trump, but he’s a capable enough guy to get my vote. Better than a Democrat that’s for sure.

@Sevenizz: Low bar Huh? Can you not be so partisan? Pence is a Buffon, one step above Trump. Better, but not by much.

If Pence wanted to run in 2024 after Trump's second term ends, he'd probably win. He'd be the Bush to Trump's Reagan. I just don't think Pence is all that interested in the job.

@tenaka2: Just out of curiosity (😛😂🤣😂😛)

I thought the left loved and praised that type of behavior? I mean didn’t Kamala Harris sleep her way into politics? In case you were wondering. Yes. Yes she did. She had multiple affairs to move up in power.

Why do you care about that shit all of a sudden when Trump had multiple affairs and has several rape accusers?

@BlackShirt20: Spare us your obvious trolling. She did no such thing, you just want to lessen her accomplishments.

Not sure but this post smacks of misogyny. Want to rephrase?

Explain how pointing out the truth constitutes "misogyny." Accusing someone of being a misogynist, racist, sexist, phobe this, phobe that because you cannot refute their argument just makes you look desperate.

No. If he loses he is running from the administration. He is such a stuffy evangelical christian. He will get away from Trump ASAP/distance himself and go away. He's hated in his home state, as well.

Anyone as fanatically religious as him will never believe the science and will never separate church and state. Disaster.

Pence is unelectable. He is only there because he is riding Trumps pumpkin trail.
