Barr's Summary of Russian Cyber Interference in the 2016

The Special Counsel’s investigation determined that there were two main Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election. The first involved attempts by a Russian organization, the Internet Research Agency (IRA), to conduct disinformation and social media operations in the United States designed to sow social discord, eventually with the aim of interfering with the election.

The second element involved the Russian government’s efforts to conduct computer hacking operations designed to gather and disseminate information to influence the election. The Special Counsel found that Russian government actors successfully hacked into computers and obtained emails from persons affiliated with the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party organizations, and publicly disseminated those materials through various intermediaries, including WikiLeaks. Based on these activities, the Special Counsel brought criminal charges against a number of Russian military officers for conspiring to hack into computers in the United States for purposes of influencing the election. But as noted above, the Special Counsel did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.

Barr's Summary on Mueller Report Highlights Russian Interference in 2016 Election

https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Barrs-Summary-on-Mueller-Report-Highlights-Russian-Interference-in-2016-Election-507594881.html

Hopefully people stop doubting this at least. It's been known for a while but we still had doubters, oddly.

I can't believe there are people that think the investigation was groundless or a waste of time. Where there's smoke there's usually fire and for the last few years there was a whole lot of smoke coming out of every orifice of Trump.

I guess Trump will release the full report immediately since it completely exonerates him.

@Serraph105 That was the point. It's just a distraction so you don't pay attention to the bankers and corporations looting the country.

Divide and conquer.

The DOJ still needs to remove grand jury and classified information first. While Hollywood stars like Alyssa Milano may not realize this, the politicians calling for the immediate release know this but are calling for the full release anyway because it makes Trump look more guilty the longer it takes to get the redacted report out.

I 100% get his point, it's classic deflection. It's just not a logical point, nor is it accurate - and he's only bringing it up to stray away from interference.

Just because USA interferes in SOME election (lmao all?) doesn't make it remotely okay or lessen the fact that Russia did it to us.

Its been a wild ride watching the media try to cling onto anything at this point, especially CNN and MSNBC. I really hope they do a full investigation on the steel dossier.

Somebody who actually believes this collusion bs please tell me what actual evidence ever connected trump to russia collusion to spark the investigation in the first place. The steel dossier imo is a pile of garbage, when you look into what information was used and who funded it.

No. I think she's trash, that was the point. So that wouldn't explain why I always beat you.

I'm simply using Barr's Summary. For some reason people who view it as gospel are now getting upset at other portions of it. Quite odd.

At least you are consistent on this one issue.

Hopefully people stop doubting this at least. It's been known for a while but we still had doubters, oddly.

Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy claims are FALSE

This thread is not about collusion.

This thread is about Russian Interference to help Trump, which is 100% confirmed by Barr, on top of previous ICA reports.

Maybe it would if you understood the point.

I 100% get his point, it's classic deflection. It's just not a logical point, nor is it accurate - and he's only bringing it up to stray away from interference.

Just because USA interferes in SOME election (lmao all?) doesn't make it remotely okay or lessen the fact that Russia did it to us.

Considering our government has overthrown foreign governments, replaced foreign leaders with those it deemed correct, influenced elections, etc.., and had ZERO reservations in doing so, it is laughable when objections are born due to foreign involvement in our affairs. This isn't a matter of right or wrong. Rather, this is about being hypocritical. One thing I'd expect everyone to agree upon is how our (I'm assuming you live in the states) government seems to think it can do anything it wants and takes great offense when it gets a dose of its own medicine.

Well, that is your opinion. I don't think Russian interference is in any way tolerable. Just like I don't think terrorism against USA is tolerable because we have killed many Muslim civilians.

FALSE. WikiLeaks's statement on DNC data dump contradicts ICA reports.

Better reporting from https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/03/24/mueller-report-six-takeaways-ag-william-barr-summary-russia-investigation/3262691002/

Six takeaways from AG William Barr's letter summarizing Mueller's report on Trump campaign

No evidence of collusion

'Multiple offers' from Russians to assist Trump

Barr said that Mueller identified two main tracks in Russia's interference in the 2016 election: sowing social media discord and hacking Democrats' emails.

Wikileak's DNC data dump was NOT from Russian government.

So the Barr Summary and Mueller Report are fake and wrong?!

P.S. I find it funny you take the word of Assange over dozens of hours of testimony, SIC, HIC, the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the DHS, Mueller, and your boy Barr. As usual, your citation is weak.
