I was a centrist liberal when I was younger. Socially, I was all for equal rights for everyone. I'm gay so of course I was more empathetic. Now, I'm far more left than ever after the election. I do believe that money and politics need to be checked and altered. The rich needs to pay their fair share of taxes. Gun ownership should be watched and regulated. Illegal immigrants shouldn't be deported if they haven't done any crimes. Single payer health care, a lot of them do pay taxes which doesn't benefit at all. Equal pay for both genders. Political corruption both left and right need to be checked. Public education needs to be more focused and funded. Lower taxes for corporations most likely are not obligated to hire more staff or employees in order to increase job growth. It doesn't happen. It's trickle down economics.
