What Ps3 shooter exclusive do you think will be better?

Today, I am putting these two games head to head

Socom: Confrontation

and

Resistance 2

Now I want to see which one people think will be better.

So, anyways, please vote.

Two very different shooters aimed at two very different types of gamers.

For me, personally, Socom means nothing. I'm much more a Resistance guy then a Socom guy. Needless to say, Resistance 2 gets my vote.

Kinda unfair to them - one has an epic single player campaign , plus a seperate co-op campaign , and then multiplayer. The other is just multiplayer only.

Maybe the real question is which will have the better competitive multiplayer of the two ? Hard to compare because they are so different , but at least that is a fair comparison.

All you guys going on about "best game of the year" this and "better than far cry" that, bull

While I expect to get Resistance 2, and I expect it to be a lot of fun, I think you need to reevaluate your expectations. I'm banking on both far cry 2 and kill zone 2 being a lot better, as to weather resistance will be better than socom, resistance, easy.

I don't expect resistance 2 to be that much more than just a lot of gunfire and pretty much the kind of thing we saw in the first, almost unchanged, but that's great. that's what was fun last time, and the simplistic "blow stuff up" linear gameplay looks just like it used to, so It's gonna be great for fans of the last game, but. maybe I'm totaly wrong about this but I think a lot of people think it's gonna be something bigger than what it is, I know a lot of critics are. so I expect some bad reviews, the hell if that's gonna stop me though.

not gonna be a game of the year by a long shot, or even FPS of the year, but it's still gonna rock.

I say Resistance 2 for sure. As for Socom: Confrontation I was interested in it but it going to be multi-player only, and that sucks as I like single-player parts of games more then the multi-player so I may not get it now.

Resistance to me was a pretty generic shooter, and R2 looks to be more of the same. pyromaniac223

Yeah, Warhawk had the same deal. I don't think every retail version came with a headset because some people may have had one already. But I wouldn't really know for sure, I downloaded Warhawk.

Probably Socom. I don't own Resistance: Fall of Man, but my friends own it, and are going to get R2, so I'll play it there. We agreed to try to get unique game collections, and plus Socom will be the first of its series.

But for real though, my vote is still for none, next year hopefully will be better when KILLZONE2 comes out.

I vote socom there is a large fan base and I was on when the beta was released to those who pre-ordered and the servers were full up.

I think rfom is one of the worse fps ever .Horrible controls.r2 won't be much different . Ive tried socom and rather play ghost recon. Socom another bad control scheme game( if they changed the ps2 controls then my mistake oytherwise my opinion still stands
