Ps4, video-output question...

I've got some questions regarding the setup process of the Ps4, mainly concerning the video-output setting. When i first bootup the console will i be given a choice to set the video-output setting or do i manually have to scroll to the settings-menu once i get to the ui?

How are you going to use the UI if theres nothing showing on the display?

I honestly can't remember but there were a few different settings to set during the initial setup. Resolution was likely one of them but I can't remember for sure.

Just watched a setup video and there is not an option for resolution there. There is a sound and screen option in the settings though.
