lol at my gamestop they have huge signs saying "we have ps3's! buy them now!" and theyve been up since the post christmas sale and i asked the guy and he said the store has sold 4 since then while recieveing 40 he was probably exagerating to try and get me to buy one but they also hav a sign saying "go away we dont have anything wii related"

We have sold 2 PS 3 20gb of the 4 20 gigs we had, and we are expecting to have some 60g versions next month. Do you know why do we have Wiis? At the EB, The worker told me that all systems are selling pretty good. He told me that the best system that sells is the Wii and it is literally sold out once they get em. He said that xboxs are selling like crazy but they get a ton of them. He said that the ps3s are doing pretty well. He said the only reason why they are sold out like the Wii is mainly the price tag. He also said sometimes people are willing to settle for the 360 because its cheaper. Â

I wouldn't call CT exactly populated. Its nowhere near the population of the areas around it. The largest city,Bridgeport, has a total population of 139,529 according to a 2000 census. So in the mind of someone who lives in Boston, which has a population of 589,141 which is 4.2 x the population of Bridgeport, CT might as well be Amish country.

So basciallly what you are telling us you get all the sales figures from all the stores in the US? Come on now you can do better than that, because at my local bb and gamestop they are selling pretty steady.
If PS3 does not sell by March, that's when you guys should be worry. It's useless to argue about it right now, as you know its an expensive system and smart consumers are holding onto the money and waiting for Reviews to come out. Why argue now? argue at the end of March.

If you guys that can't find one are really itching to get one go to the Fredericksburg VA Best Buy and dive into the pile they have stacked up in the middle of the store. They are all 60GB beauties. If Richmond is closer go to the Circuit City and ask. They are all stocked up as well. Sony has done a fine job supplying the state of Virginia with 60GB PS3's. Its the 20GB version I haven't seen anywhere. So maybe that's the hot seller. Its time for reality to intrude into the fanboys brain. People are chafing at the high price point big time. Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword aren't going to change that. Maybe if they launched with Metal Gear and Final Fantasy things would be different but they don't have anything to sell the system right now nor in the near future. Best Buy didn't even have the price posted near their pyramid of PS3. Its funny watching people ask and then run away like they'd seen a ghost.

Well in Indiana they are selling and selling fast. Walmart is always getting them in and they gone in no time at all. EB games also says they don't last too long in there stores and I have 10 around me within 40miles of me so they sure are selling here fast.
