Metal gear solid 4 VS God of War 3

Two greatest titles available on PS 3 .

Since I haven't played MGS 4 because I haven't beat MGS 2 & 3 yet (I'm kinda late), I'm gonna say GOW 3 is my second favorite.

They are both Action / Adventure but the 1st is Third Person Shooter and the 2nd is Hack and Slash. They can't be compared to each other.

Anyway, I LOVE them both but a think... I think... I like God of War 3 a little bit more.

However, these 2 games are my best games ever.

Both games are great but i choose MGS4 is best...!

:lol:LOL! i can't believe you're comparing the two! is this a joke comparison? two are completely different games, mgs4 is known for stealth long time ago, in mgs4 you have a choice to be stealthy, lethal or non-lethal, or head-on approach as optionals and more,.. lots of ways how to play it. god of war 3 is known to be linear only head on hack and slash action which is there is no other way to play it but to button mash, in short: kill or be killed. imo gow 1-3 can't touch mgs games. mgs games are untouchable.

MGS4 is overrated, I'd go with God of War 3 easily

I rented MGS and turned it off, returned it same day and asked for a kick to the groin ... which was more enjoyable than playing that garbage - God of War is by FAR the best out on PS3 and before God of War, I would have to say Uncharted 2, then before Uncharted 2, Uncharted ... MGS SUCKS

I am yet to play GOW 3, but have loved the series, didn't really play MGS in the PS1 & PS2 days but I wish I had because I got MGS4 with my PS3 and I thought it was absolutely amazing! When I play & complete GOW 3 I will comment this post with my decision :)

MGS4 had won my number 1 spot over HL2. But after completing GOW 1, 2 and now 3 in the past 3 1/2 weeks, I've got to say my vote now goes to GOW3. Its really a tough call, but I do love some puzzles and some great dramatic epic moments and GOW3 definitly takes it home for me.

MGS4 definitely, I beat GoW3 in 8 hours on Normal, very disappointed,traded it in towards Demon's Souls, DS is turning out to be a disappointment as well with its unnecessary grind and difficulty. I wasted so much money this week on two mediocre games :/ But at least I know I can go to a game like MGS4 and have fun still :)

That's a hard one. Love em both but I think MGS4 wins.

MGS4 for me definately. Never liked the gameplay of the GoW games, but I liked the story and setting.

UC2 as I own the movie LOL MGS4(still haven't finished due to long cut scenes and loading times) and GOW 3 I own but haven't played as I need to finish the first 2. Though out of what I have played from GOW and MGS I would have to say GOW. I now that neither of them will touch UC2 in terms of my favorite game this gen.

Most definitely MGS4. It drew me into the world... which is all it took for me to like it. I found God of War 3 to be another stellar addition to the series...but it wasn't driven/ well paced. It was just the usual kill, kill, rage, kill....even more so than the previous games. I'm echoing what I've been stating since the game launched...but ..the plot delivery was horrible as well imo.verbalfilth

HA MGS4 is the greatest game ever, God of War 3 is awesome, but don't even think about saying that MGS4 is overrated.!

Indeed, let's vote for the game that hasn't been released yet.

Anyways, both are good, but FFXIII takes the cake for me. Though if we're gonna go PS3 exclusive...Demon's Souls.

MGS4, no question about it. God of War 3 was fun, but Metal Gear Solid 4 is, wow.
