Major Problems with 3.10

XMB has crashed hundreds of times.

XMB is also extremely slow.

Trophies do not load up correctly.

Store takes ages to initally load, and then nothing shows up.

With XMB this bad, my PS3 is practically unplayable on.

EDIT: Tryed MW2 online. Get to matchmaking then freezes everytime; invites and join sessions do not work. Pressing 'Quit Game' turns off system and vice versa.

Controller also turns off when ever I turn off a game.

there are many variables pertaining performance you didnt mention.

did this happen while you were gaming online?

same here, was about to play mw2 online so downloaded the update.

though the only problem i had was my trophies wouldnt up8. everything else was fine.

I updated to 3.10 a couple of hours ago and have experience none of the issues you mentioned.

I've had some of those problems as well. The facebook app crashes the PS3 everytime I try it on the browser.

I have the Matchmaking freezing on mw2 + Quit game ( turns off system ) and controller turns off after i quit game

Is this a joke just got it played MW2 as well runs fine for me.

Dont know what you are talking about. My system just had the update and it runs perfectly.

my 80 gig is running well so far never tried online yet

Just to clarify, not a joke thread. I was playing some MW2 beforehand, when I get kicked off PSN. I thought it was just PSN but then realised there was a firmware. So I downloaded (the almost pointless) needed firmware and then after that, everythings gone hayyywiirreee. XMB takes ages to load up icons and move along the cursor etcAdziboy

Having some match game freezes in MW2

and then if you quit game it restarts the ps3 leading to the ps3 controller turned off

I've had 3.10 installed since yesterday and haven't had any problems at all. Don't know what to tell you.

I'm having a minor issue with 3.10 as well. Both my dualshock controllers won't stay synced to my PS3, they just flash repeatedly. The batteries are fully charged on both, and I connected them via USB and they still won't stay synced after I remove the USB cable.

Also, I have tried to reset the controllers via the little pinhole on the back, and that did not help either. :(

I haven't had any problems....yet. But i dont have mw2 so i dont know if it will freeze on match making.

i had my ps3 for almost 3 years now. never had a problem ever.well it froze prolly 8 times throught those years. i dont get it lol. am i just treating it better or somthing. plus it dropped of my desk one time. its funny how mine works just about perfectly

Only problem is syncing and comparing trophies, other then that it works fine, although it did freeze once today but 3 hrs after i dl the update so i dont think it was that.
