I'm just curious cause i'm thinking about buying a PS3 for myself. Where can i get the best deal and should i wait for the prices to drop and maybe get a bundle?
$650 lived in canada but i had a 15% discount it was so crazy owning a ps3 back then because everybody wil be like ur so lucky or i'm coming to your house like the second day i had it. ahhh good times.
if u want to get a ps3 then wait for the bundle coming in june which includes a 80gb ps3? a dualschock 3, and a copy of metal gear solid 4. which will retail for $500 i bought a 80gb ps3 motorstorm bundle for $500
there probably wont be a bundle for ff13...can't have a bundle for every big name game because than there would be like 6 differrent bundles for sony this year alone...just buy whichever u need depending if u honestly think u will still play ps2 games anymore or not(im one of the few who still do) and just enjoy it till the amazing *wet urself* games come out towards april and on...
I got mine off of dell. I got the 40gig with the memory card reader (which I now realize I didn't need LOL), a game, and the blu-ray remote all for like $450.
I paid $600.00 just a few weeks before the price drop and have never regreted it in the least. There was nothing wrong with the price at that time for what came in the system and with firmware updates the value has just gotten better.

there is no way its worth 3000 freakn bucks. not now not ever. if i was u i could have waited at least a year especaily since there were no good games wen it came out. o but rite i got mine for 400 on craigs list. its a 40 gig and it was brand new not opened or nuthin
I paid $600 for a 60GB after waiting in line for 45hrs. O buts its okay it came with Talladega Nights Blu-ray lol. It is a funny movie though I mean come on its Will Ferrell he is the man!!!
I bought my 60gb PS3 in July of last year at Circuit City. I didn't pay full price, though.
They were running a special that included an extra SixAxis with the purchase of a new PS3, but since I didn't need/want the extra controller, the clerk gave me the option of slashing the cost of the controller off of the price of the PS3!
I was pretty surprised, as stores don't usually let you alter deals, but this girl was new, and she let me slide. I ended up paying roughly $450 for it (it was $499 at the time), so I was happy.:D
