How much cash are you dishing out this generation?

I have spent roughly £6,000($12,000) on next gen gaming equipment.

PS3/360/Wii/DS/PSP/custom built PC and an LG HDTV around 80 boxed games and 40 DLC games between the systems and quite a few accesories including racing wheels/extra pads/remotes etc.

Its just a rougth estimate of my spendings since december 2005 no wonder my girlfriend goes mad although her hand bag and shoe's spending probably equal that amount.

Yea i droppped alot of cash this generation but so worth it

60GB PS3- $600

32 Inch LCD HD TV- $700

1 Sixaxis- $45

Dualshock 3- $54

12 games - $720

i should be broke but i work so it's not that bad just a huge dent in ma pocket.

My total this gen is $1,359:shock: and i've only had my PS3 since Nov 07 and my PSP since Feb 08

this is probably more than i spent on my PS2 in its lifetime

Well there are plenty of ways to buy ...in a smart and cheaper way. Use ebay or buy them used.

PS3 40GB + 10 games = $800 ...ebay & used games are the way to go...

about 2800-2900$, (lunch ps3 and 14 games in Norway, the prices are about twice as high here as the prices in the states) if counting my HD tv about 5900$. Now I haven't payed all that myself. My brother has bought a few games and I've been given some games as gifts and a part of the hd tv was also a gift.

Edit: if I count my headset, an hdmi cable, my second sixaxis, my brand new DS3 and my 4 blu-ray movies it will actually be abit over 3000$ or over 6000$ if you count the tv.

ps3: 1000 american dollars

games: 9 ( 80 american dollars each)

ds controller: about 80 american dollars

blue tooth headset: 20 american dollars

4 psn games: around 70 bucks

GTA4: £40 ($80) thats right, our new games cost $80

MGS4: £40 ($80)

£370 ($740), Thats cheaper than I thought, Im gonna buy a HD tv when I got a job, so thatll set me back £400 ($800) at the least for a decent one
