Because, i don't really i just play them till i get bored with them lolTitans23
98% of the time I finish the games that I buy but once in a while there will be a game that I get rid of because I lost interest in it.
I'm no casual gamer. I play them. Beat them. And if they're awesome, master them to the fullest. Unless it's Star Ocean 3....That game wants your life sapped to come close to master it.Symphonycomethcouldn't have said it better...evil star ocean 3 T.T also need to finally beat oblivion....
Every game I buy I must complete. If I don't then I wasted my money on it. With the exception to sport games or racing games like Gran Turismo I don't bother finishing them.Star650
I feel the same way, that's why it's bad to buy a game based on hype or compulsion, your purchase should be made by your personal interest and research.
The majority. I still haven't beaten DMC4 and probably never will.Floppy_Jim
Are you serious..?? I could kick you!!!! lol..just kidding...(WELL,KINDA)
Games are much too expensive to buy and not finish playing. I do my best researching any game on any platform before I buy. Still, occassionally, I buy a game that is a dud despite reviews indicating otherwise. Qixoteditto i probably spend more time reseaching the game then actually play but some you still get burned like army of 2, mercs 2 (and nearly haze bearly dogded that bullet read the review and played the demo before i left) but yeah i play the living crap out of my games
ive beaten all the game i bought, except mgs essential collection. those game are hard but are well worth it.
If you're not going to beat the game, you might as well spent that money on charity. At least it would be put to FULL use.Symphonycometh
Awsome statement....in this day and age I can't see how some people feel as though it's ok to waste money.
yes i usually do, unless the game is called GTA4 or Dark Sectormep69
HEY!!!! watch it....I like Dark Sector. lol
I just try to beat the game and if it has trophies, get all of them. I rarely fully complete a game 100 percent, it would have to be a REALLY good game...like kingdom hearts 1/2 :D
Edit: for my ps3 games I own
Call of Duty 4 (beat it)
The Darkness (beat it)
Lair (came free with ps3, couldn't beat it :S)
Linger in shadows ( if considered a game) (beat it)
LBP ( Its a christmas present so I have to wait till then and I want to get all the trophies for Resistance 2 first)
Bioshock (same as little big planet)
MGS4 (beat it, epic game)
Motor storm ( same as lair only i don't really like racers)
Ratchet and clank future tools of destruction (beat it)
Resistance fall of man (beat it)
Resistance 2 (beat it, but I still don't have all the trophies)
Rock band (beat it)
Rock band 2 (beat it)
Unreal tournament (beat it)
Virtua fighter ( I guess you could say I beat it, is it possible to beat an arcade game  ?)
How are you going to know how it ends? You usually know about a game months in advance before you buy it. You should know what you're expecting. Even if the the game is rated poorly (Mercenaries 2), I still pick it up because I'm a fan of the franchise. Sometimes, in the case of Ratchet and Clank Future, the game is awesome despite the low grade. If you're going to spend $60 on a game, you better finish it.littlesundaysome times i feel like im the other one who agreed with R&C's score on GS. It was a complete bore, and a cakewalk. And this is coming from a guy who loved the series on PS2
Yeah except one. Shadow of the Collosus. The sword kept lieing to me so I gave upavataraang1Clearly it didn't like you. My sword loved me.

beaten ps2 games : 54
unbeaten ps2 54
why only 50% are beaten is because i have a FF10 save with 260 hours on it. 3 new game+ saves on disgaea 1 and 2 average 80 hours each. dragon quarter beaten 3 times for a total of 120 hours. with averaging 30 hours of play each week its kinda getting out of hand some times.
beaten ps3 games : 6
unbeaten ps3 : 3
got too many ps3 at the same time before christmas so 3 are beaten yet but i'll to it next week.
beaten psp games : 1
unbeaten psp : 19
beaten ds games : 0
unbeaten ds games : 16
i play my portables at work on lunch time if i can so games like FF7 crisis core and FF3 took all the spotlight from other games.
beaten ps1 games : 10
unbeaten ps1 games : 40
with the canadian dollar going up this summer i litterally RAIDED EBAY and hunted down any rpg that seemed worth some attention. o_O my wallet was hurt in the process with all my new taxes costing more tehn anticipated but it is slowly recovering.

I complete the vast majority of my games.
I mean I've have 14 games , Only one I havn't beaten is Burnout, Which I wouldn't normaly buy as I usually really dislike racing games (only exceptions are Mario Kart, Crash Team racing, Diddy Knong racing and Motorstorm) but it was only £5 so I couldn't turn it down.
Last three gegnerations I was really to young to finish all my games which in instances were for my age way outside my ability to finish. Eg I was only 3 when the Snes ended production (only completed mario on it) and Only 9 when the ps2 began production. This gen however is a diffrent story.
