I received a permanent suspension for "Advertising"
Last year I joined a PlayStation community on PS4 for the game DC Universe Online. This game is an MMO and in it you can trade in game items with other players. I inadvertently broke the terms of service by posting my desire to trade an item I had for one I wanted in the community.
I was permanently banned 3-4 days later for "advertising". I don't agree with the rule but nonetheless I broke it.
On the PlayStation website I can dispute the permanent suspension (ONLY ONCE) and it gives me several options:
1. I believe someone else accessed my account. I did not commit the offense
2. My friend/family member accessed my account and committed the offense
3. I think I was suspended incorrectly
4. I am a parent appealing my child's suspension
5. I committed the offense but I promise to abide by the Terms of Service in the future
I believe number 5 best suits my case, but it almost sounds like a trick to incriminate myself and have them close the case. Which option do I choose and how do I successfully appeal this kind of suspension?
