Gears of War 3 for PS3?

well idk they would potentially have to buy out epic to keep them from putting it on ps3 which is a likely buy out

After playing resistance , i laugh at the puny 8 player multiplayer of GOW.

But who cares about GOW 3, we got resistance 2 or 3 possibly by then.

Althought i might try GOW 2 that is looking good, as long as it has at least 16+ multiplayer im fine

well i did hear that there would be 16 player multiplayer but it doesnt really matter its elimation once dead always dead

so i only read the first post and here is my magnificent 2 cents. DONT CARE! gears is a highly overratted game based on awesome graphics, crappy game mechanics, and a gore based gimmicks! i can also name about a dozen game in this year alone (shooters only of course) that would be tons more fun and better to have on aspects of graphics, gameplay, online play, quality, innovation, box art, booklet thickness, and every other stupid thing i cant think of right now!

so, yeah...how about we see some good games instead...oh wait we will, cuz we own a ps3.

I was reading an article about Gears 2 and it said it was sadly exclusive to 360 which everyone knows but they said microsoft only had the rights over gears 1 and 2 so gears 3 if there is one will probably end up on ps3 PhAnToM_LeGeIVd

Im not going to hide anything. I think gears of war is a good game and i wish the ps3 had a really good third person shooter like this with a good coop and good online. I hope we get gears 3 :)

Gears of War is overated, just like Halo. If it was a game in an entirely different genre then I'd be excited about it. But it's just another shooter. It doesn't offer anything new.

Killzone 2 will be the best shooter out of them all.

Gears of War is overated, just like Halo. If it was a game in an entirely different genre then I'd be excited about it. But it's just another shooter. It doesn't offer anything new.

Killzone 2 will be the best shooter out of them all.

Like any multiplatform game the quality will instantly diminish the second it's no longer exclusive. Unless it's a timed exclusive (which is highly doubtful) where development can be focused completely on one platform at a time. newgames128

this is a bit off topic but, Halo sucks compared to gears. Box-Heads should really use gears more when referring to the best games on their console. Halo 3 sucks. the end. oh and ps3 will never see gears. I wish it would, but it won't.---Saint---

It's VERY possible. For one MS doesn't own the franchise - they just have the rights to the first two installments as you pointed out.

More importantly if you read the article on the main page of GS in reference to the possible purchase of Epic games - well that would be huge. Right now that's not for sure - but if Epic Sells then it will be no holds bar and anything can happen.

I guess when people complain about that, they don't realize that Gears would suck with a lot of people. It would be possible, but it just wouldn't be fun, just like Resistance 2 wouldn't be fun with 10 people.

ive seen countless posts in these forums from the ps3 fanboys saying how Resistance 2 is gonna get a 10 and how its gonna be so awesome. honestly, from the beta, this game is pretty generic. its not bad, but certainly nothing about it is anything special. the competitive part of the beta was kinda bad. the AI is bad, especially the last big enemy u fight at the end. all it does is sit there, literally doesnt even move, while everyone just stands there and shoots at it. u might as well be standing there and shooting at a building or a tree. thats what it feels like.
