It's a good update -- not just aimed at improving security features. You can play music while looking at pictures, custom themes now available (though I'm not yet sure how to take advantage of this), and there's scene search and sequential playback for movies now.
so does anyone know if one should update the PSP slims firmware to 3.70 from the 3.60 it comes with.
I think to prevent confusion if they are going to have different firmware they should call the slims firmware with a 5 or something so it would be 3.65 and 3.75 for the slim and then 3.70 3.80 or such.

Do you go to the music menu, play a song, and then just go over to the photo menu as if there is almost no difference except for the fact that the music doesn't stop when you change menus?

the 3.7 update works on the slim and the custom theme is a welcome addition, oh and playing music while viewing pictures finally.

yept yeah just start a song press home then goto the picture folder and view pic or even do a slide show.
Being able to play music while watching pictures should've been there since the begining, and now there are official themes, video updates. At last is a good one

If you've downloaded 3.5 already, you're screwed. They don't have a weapon for that yet. Unfortunately, I already had 3.5 when I decided to take that path. o_O
The new update lets me listen to mp3s and look at photos simultaneously, but why can't I listen to mp3s and go into any options or surf the Web Browser simultaneously? :roll:
