Thanks a lot guys! It would be great if people keep responding to the thread, so i can get a really good count. I'm gonna cite this thread on my paper. I know some of you may think, citing a gaming thread on your paper! Well I want the professor to understand the direct consumer picks of Blu-ray while owning a PS3/Blu-ray player.I myself own 6, all free! lol. Spider-man and the rest came with that 5 free movie offer.SiKh22

I would like to add that if The Lord of the Rings trilogy set ever came out in blu-ray, I'd buy it no matter what it cost! Vainamoinen82

It's amusing and irritating at the same time to me that users flock to idiotic and simple-minded questions in most gaming website forums. I am not referring to anyone in particular and everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is what I did. No harm done or rules breached.

A user stated it was June 2009 but I doubt it as no official websites such as blu-ray.com or official outlets already have the preorder option with a estimated date. Amazon does not count, they add ridiculous items which does not exist but there incase they ever come out.

I've seen in a booklet that came with The Ultimate Matrix Collection with the "Fellowship..." title added in but like you stated there is no official release date. I've been tracking it and I haven't nothing as of yet.

I have 24 Blu-Ray movies, i usually buy them off eBay because its much cheaper than retail. I also found some videos at a pawn shop for 10 bucks each. Picked up Cars, Spider-Man 1-3 for 40 bucks. Thats the cost of 1 blu-ray movie with tax in a retail store.
