I own only one: Planet Earth. I still need to finish and I've had it for 6 months...
I used to rent blu-rays on Netflix, but now I use redbox and they don't to blu-rays where I live.:(
I have a lot.
Matrix collection, die hard collection, spider man trilogy, harry potter collection, terminator trilogy, 300, sleepy hollow, Life on mars season 1 and 2, firefly complete season, unforgiven, black hawk down, simpsons movie, robocop, the rock, 3:10 to yuma, Beowulf, blade runner 5 disc set, Blood diamond & V for Vendetta.
That's all i can remember, i think i have a couple more.
0 but i really want one, does it look THAT much better? How much better than like HD normal free tvjasopan
it's actually much better than your hd cable since it plays at 1080p/24p if your set up allows it. cable is only at 1080i and i've noticed w/ a movie like I am Legend in the beginning were smith is driving the mustang through new york the cable version off of On Demand at 1080i couldn't keep up w/ the fast movements (and yes i have monster component cables that are top notch), but over x-mas the wife bought me I am Legend on blu-ray and it didn't studder one bit during that scene. it's worth watching a blu-ray at least once to see the difference. My ps3 is my blu-ray player w/ hdmi cables that support 1080p/24p.
I guess i'm the only one that owns Dexter season 1 on Blu Ray... I highly-highly recommend it to everyone that has or haven't watched the series on Showtime... Michael C. Hall is an amazing-amazing actor and as the seasons have progressed, He's gotten better and better...Swavo69420
Like hell you are.:P
I didn't list it because I didn't list my movies, just the total number I have. Otherwise you would have seen it.;)
Anyway, Dexter is a phenomenal show. I always liked Michael C. Hall from his Six Feet Under days. It's nice to see that his acting skills didn't go unnoticed. The other characters are extremely well cast, too.
With the cast, to the story and everything else, Dexter is one of, if not the best show on TV today, in my opinion.
Can't wait for season 2 on Blu-ray in May (I think it's May). I'll be buying it day one.
I have none sadly, would like to get some though, but Blu-Ray is just kind of expensive. Honestly DVDs are of sufficient quality for me, and my Plasma T.V. is kind of cheap so I doubt my Blu-Ray would look all that amazing. Come to think of it though I have not seen a movie in Blu-Ray. I'm the only person I know with a Blu-Ray player LOL. (What can I say I come from poor origins.)
Though seriously must we keep changing formats? I really hope Blu-Ray sticks around for a good 20 years. Look as pretty as you make the picture look, nothing beats watching the movie on the big screen in a theater. It's the truth, and I get tired of having to keep replacing movies I already own just to get the better quality ones. (Granted DVD does not wear out bad like VHS, which in my book is a huge bonus.)
People who say blu ray has no difference to dvd are blind as bats *period*
im currently at 27..
Spiderman trilogy, corpse bride, wall-e, kung fu panda, open season, nightmare before xmas, cloverfield, appleseed ex machina, tropic thunder, step brothers, commando, hellboy 2, Pans Labyrinth, batman begins, dark night, tranformers, transformers anime movie, pineapple express, hancock, iron man, ratatouille, sleeping beauty ( looks amazing on blu ray considering its 50 yrs old) death proof, resident evil degeneration and the punisher
