Cole redesigned again... but for the better!

Guys...are we even sure it's definately Cole? Maybe it's just another inFamous game but based around another character? Unless it says in the trailers but i can't rememeber.

Better than the E3 one, but I still prefer the old Cole. I might warm up to this design tho.

I don't see the change & it hasn't been offically announced, so I will wait until SP brings out this "new change".....again. Plus, some of those shots show the Cole we were shown at E3.

I guess we gamers tend to get attached to characters, I know I do but I don't mind the new look of Cole.

I kinda think of it as a bit of attachement as well as continuity.

the old Cole has a gravely voice and is just a courier.

the new Cole which takes place AFTER the events of inFamous 1, looks like a younger version of the old Cole.

I mean its the one advantage that video games and cartoons/anime have over live action media. If you change the actor or the voice actor you don't necessarily have to the change the way they look.

Example:....

Old ---> New

Not a HUGE issue as John Rhodes in Iron man is NOT the main character... but still i heard a lot of people comic/movie fans and not fans bringing up the "what happened to the other guy?"

not a fan at all. howd he get younger!? why does he look like hes much more innocent and less jaded? did they use paul walker and stephen dorff as character models!?

i didnt like the original game that much. i think its one of the weakest exclusives for the ps3. the sequel seems to be going in a bad direction so far...

The hair is slightly shorter and faded, and his face is a *tiny* bit older looking.

He looks better now, he use yo look like nathan drake, at least now he has more of his own identity.

I don't mind the altered look too much, but I am really hating his new voice. Did he all of a sudden become younger?

I don't think people realize that Cole would've probably look a lot like the new Cole in the first one, but at the time Sucker Punch didn't really know how to do hair since they weren't too familiar with the technology. that's why they made him have a shaved head. Now they're familiar with the PS3 and they want to give him hair and everybody's crying about it...

They probably are trying to keep the series set up for a potential movie. If they have a paticular person or persona they think will be necessary for the movie than they may want to reflect it in the game series off the get go in order to improve the chances the potential movie would be received well.
