I see boobies in real life, doesn't mean i want to avoid them in movies or video games, although I have yet to see boobies in video games that capture my attention like they can in a movie.

What's the difference between putting mature content in games and putting it in movies? Most of the best movies in the world contain mature content, so I ask, what's the difference? And for the record, it's a game that appeals to your free-will, I happen to be one of those people that play it properly without going on insane rampages. If you don't want to bang a hooker, don't.

yeh I know. wtf why would you call it "filth". Gaming as a form of media should be able to include the same levels of content in 18-rated games as movies with an 18 rating. That includes sex. OMG NOT SEX. If you have seen the sex scene in monsters ball, which is an 18. You will understand why this prude attitude towards hookers in GTA is pathetic. I hate to break it to you but if they wanted to add car customization they would have and this by no means replaced car customization/walking music.

they added it because it's more depth into something many people probably get a kick out of and it's fun to do it simply for sh*t and giggles.

I don't understand how this is unnecessary. The game takes place in a big city, and Niko lives around the rougher areas where prostitution does happen. If it makes you uncomfortable then, just like in real life, you have the choice to drive past them and do nothing with them.

Rockstar is doing something important here too. There are a lot of people out there that want more censorship in video games, and among other things. and Rockstar is showing they have the balls to say, "You don't scare us, and we have the right to put whatever we want in our game."

The fact that it is in the game doesn't really effect me in anyway. I will probably try it out just to experience all the little things in the game.

it adds no story value, it adds world value and simply, more options with everything. same way mini-games have been expanded upon (pool, darts, etc), hookers have been too :P
