Devil May Cry 3 I played for 2 weeks straight no breaks ( cept for water and food, which probably totalled about 30 minutes ). Me and my friend non stop played our first playthrough on the medium difficulty. It was worth it, we both got $500 from our friends.
 have a question does anyone parents get mad at you when your playing time exceeds like 5 hours? cause when i was playing ratchet and clank for 10 hours my dad got mad and told me to get off.
9 hours straight playing NBA Street Vol. 2. I really don't know what possessed me to play that long with a basketball game, it's just one of those fun addictive games.

i dont care what they think its just i wonder how mad other peoples parents would be if they didnt see there son for 3 days and found out he was playin a game the whole time.
I played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for 10 hours straight, when i first bought it. The longest time i played a PC game was Counter-Strike 1.6 for 12 hours.
I played WWF NO MERCY for N64 for 3 days straight with my buddie because we were so excited that we could design our own characters and make money to buy secrets. And as many know, that game had many glitches and would erase the memory on the cartridge, so my many hours were lost
I played FFXI for about 23 hours with breaks for food and bathroom. The longest I ever went without any breaks at all was probably 20 hours of Super Smash Bros. Melee. I did Shadow of the Colossus from sun-up to sundown the day I got it, and I've played SOCOM II for the same amount of time, so I guess that's about 15 hours.
MMo's tend to rob you of sleep the most. I remember when I was playing FFXI, there were soo many people who fell asleep while playing. It was quite annoying and sometimes funny. I've done it myself a few times however.
Don't the machines over-heat or something? Because my bro always gets mad when I play for more than an hour, and he makes me wait for it to cool down after he plays.
PS2 original edition's cooling system can perfectly handle 20+ hours of gameplay without a problem. Slim might have problems if you don't have one of those external coolers, though.
On topic, I guess it was either DQ VIII or MGS3: Snake Eater, both closing to 16 hours. Vacations... :roll:Â
i played GTA:VC for a whole week without sleep over the summer and then i spent the weekend from the moment i got back home till 7 oclock monday. it wasnt that bad. The whole week one wiped me out
me it's about 6 hours but when FFVIII came out i rented it for 5 days the only time i wasn't playing was when i was in the bathroom gone get food or drinks(i played while eating) and taking showers. i started that game and i only shut the PS when i beat the game(a little over 80 hours) i was so exausted after that, that i slept for 20 hour straigth -_- i never done it again exept for spending nighters playing games
before it went to hell, I could play Star Wars: Galaxies 12-14 hrs.+ on the weekends when my RL friends werent doing anything. I would play Counter Strike 1.6 for 4-5hrs at a time before i got bored
on a single-player game, 5-6 hour stints on Final Fantasy 7-10. 10 hours on gran turismo 3 a few times
17-20hrs on MGS2: Substance, Splinter Cell (the first one), for about 10hrs, 7hrs on Resident Evil 4, 10hrs with Tekken 5. Not including LAN Parties :D And... um.... around 5hrs with Armagetron Advanced w/ friends once...... :)
Exactly 24 hours with Star Ocean 3. My friend recorded the whole thing...and I won $50.WWEMAN101

I remember now I played KH for ages, until I got the Ultima Weapon and basically completed it 100% :P It was for like around 48hrs or so. Hahaha! Great time playin it though :)
