Playing Okami gives me a headache everytime I play!

This is very bazaar,
Everytime I play okami i get a huge headache

I used to play it thinking it would go away soon. I took a 3 month break from playing it and now i started again. I play many other games without getting any migrains at all.

Does anyone else have this problem?

is it just that game?

The visual effects, while incredible, do hurt my eyes after a few hours of playing it for me as well.

I didnt get headaches from it, but I did have to stop after a time to rest my eyes. I would suggest to play it in a well lit room with a view of outdoors perhaps?

Quite a few games mess with my eyes, (especially first person perspective games) but some of that I attribute to just having horrible vision.

I bet it has to do with the blurry style graphics. Some people have funny eyeballs that process light differently than other people. You should do some tests to check your eyes. I think alot of asians cant tell the difference between slightly different shades of colors. You might be at risk to strobe light induced seizures. In any event if its causing you pain you should definately look into it.

Are you playing on an HDTV, or a TV that is a different size than what you are used to?

HDTVs tend to make colors more pronounced, so a game that is very colorful maybe too much for your eyes to process in HD (eyestrain often leads to headaches).

TV size can have a similar effect. You mentioned MMORPGs i believe, so that means staring at a computer screen, which is often smaller than a TV.

OK i might not be migrain or flashes hurting your eyes it simply may be that you don't like the game because the gameplay or the graphics or the puzzlez (sure is this one) result annoying to you even after all the goods comments you have heard and you trying really hard to like it .

Don't bother just sell it, trade it -burn it if you want to- forsomenthig you're gonnareally like DMC 2,or Driver 3or somelow rated game who cares.

I actually trade mine for RE 2 for GC ........

once ive played god of war beginning to end and not give me a headache but if you got the sound to loud or play games that have many puzzles or thinking situations you might have a headache or get sleepy easy
