I agree with Big Rigs
Also the Sims Online was problibly the BIGGEST waste of my time. I had a horrible time playing it.
Sid Meier's Pirates and Indigo Prophecy. Two of the crappiest games I've ever purchased._Memento_

Oh man of course! How could i forget?? Deffinatly Runescape
Here are a few from my past
Ringworld - Because after all the hard work and so forth that you do in this game, you are rewarded with a THE END screen and the dropped to the C:\ prompt.
Ultrabots - All the cool CGI on the box and then when you opened it up, all there was was one 720K floppy. The game was horrible.
Driv3r - When the driving sucks in a game that is called Driv3r, you have a big problem.
Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude - Thanks for destroying a legendary adventure game series by changing the main character and then putting in four lousy mini-games that you play over and over. Also not to mention
You score with every chick, a LSL no-no
The worst game I played is definately Monster Garage.
Blah, I got so hyped from the TV show (which is still cool) and then the horror of this game... oh my god....
The worst game for me is Mu Online. The game sucks, cant believe there are gamers waste their time with that poor game.
Worst game stability/bug-wise? Or just boring?
If we're talking about the latter then Sims Online, GRAW and Civ3 would take the cake for me.
-Sims Online was a ridiculous game. Nothing but a chatroom while your character "levels up" your skills to get new animations. By level up I mean you click on the object then leave it until it's done... sortof like EVE Online except it doesn't take quite as long for the automated levelling up to occur.
-GRAW because I never disliked a game so quickly before in my life. I found it extremely boring, extremely repetitive (click, cover, shoot with crappy aim, cover, move, etc). I just hated it.
-Finally, Civ3 because it takes far too long to do anything. When I load up a game I want to play it, not set it up to play over several hours. If I wanted to do that I'd start playing chess by ground mail with a penpal.
If we're talking about games that had horrible stability/bugs than Star Wars Galaxies wins that easily. If you're not crashing you're lagging. If you're not lagging you're running into a gamestopping bug. If you're not running into a gamestopping bug you're not playing because the servers are down. Again.

Agreed...although it was free :P
Worst game ever are any the sims, a game that you play by doing boring life stuff, i mean didnt a game suppouse to be fun by doing things that you wouldnt dare to do it in real life =P
But yeah Runescape, bigrigs, wow, daikatana, are terrible but did you guys saw that eragon game that is recently released to promote the movie! Man that was sad!!!
Why is everyone naming critically acclaimed games as the worst games ever? lol. The only actual bad game I've seen so far in this thread is runescape, true crime, daikatana, the sims online, and big rigs(which really is the worst game ever) onemicFanboys maybe? biased? The game developers slept with their girlfriend, or wife? Or they think its cool to put down great games to make themselves look different when in reality the only people here being different are the ones that are actually listing the worst games. I agree that big rigs is the worst game ever, however I have never played it, I'm going to vote for Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green, I downloaded the demo and omg, that game is beyond terrible, i felt like tearing my eyes out as I'm sure that would have been more fun.
