What's a modern replacement for the 8800 GTS?

Hey, guys. It seems that my 8800GTS finally died out, so I'm in need of a new graphics card. I don't really feel like spending a fortune on something fancy, and I was happy with the 8800, so I'm wondering if you guys know of a "modern" replacement for the 8800 - something just as good, if not better, but not too pricey.

What version of the 8800GTS did you had?

One of the two original ones 320 and 640 VRAM or the revised chip one 512VRAM?

Because I remember that the 8800GT was more powerful than the first two but slightly weaker than the last one.

6850\GTX 560MonsieurX

The 560 is much more expesive.

It should be either 6850 or 6870/560.

For like 100 bucks you can get a 550Ti or a little more a GTX 460.

Both of which are significantly faster than a 8800

Go for a MSI GTX 460 Hawk thats what I got and I absolutely love it.
