what graphic card is good enough for counter-strike source?

hey guys... i foudn another pC.... it has a GeForce 6150 SE turbo cache.. is that any good? is SE goood??

and it has a 2 gig ram, 250 harddrive and 2.2 ghz.. can that run source? help please thank you!

2007 is great year for PC games IMO, i would recommend you to buy a gaming PC with Dual Core processor, 2Gb DDR2 RAM and a GeForce 7600GT or better, the 6 series can barely run anything nowdays (i own 6600 and i can only play on lowest graphics) next year i won't be able to run anything i guess, so get yourself one good video card - it's cost won't be higher than 80-100$

yeah your playing throught the story and it has multiplayer but the multiplayer isn't popular as CS: S is

the 7500 will work fine with no lag, perfectly smooth. With the 7600 I can run the game maxed, with AA x2 and AF x4, so you will probably be able to get similar settings.

about that geforce 7500 LE card.. do you know what my fps would be?ecks001

the 7500 LE will be good as a 6600 - which is i think almost all graphics are maxed, but a 7600 will make sure that you'll play it on max graphics withouta dropof fps

My bro's laptop.. his graphic card is a geforce 7300... its regular fps on CSS is 90-120.. sometimes 160

but sometimes it geos all the way down to 20... for like 5 min though.. does anybody know why?

BTW that's why you need to have the cd and not buying/downloading games from the net (which on your situation from Steam)

it's CS: S style but with small-medium rooms - so expect of total chaos sometimes

I have a pentium 4 and a 7600gt (£65) and it runs CSS @ 40-50fps!daytona_178

man 40-50 fps is horrible! when people move or something they're all choppy! they're nto smooth :(
