Went through the trading post looking at the Halloween skins and decided to dive in for the Deathly Avian Pauldrons skin which weren't too pricey and looks pretty nice, so I didn't regret my purchase. I going to guess that the great sword skin is rarest of the bunch since it way more expensive than the rest (42 gold lol).:P Here a pic of the shoulderpads:
Well after turning down the graphic settings, I actually starting to make better progress with the Clock Tower, so maybe lag was especially the problem. Since I pretty much done with everything else I wanted to do for now, I think I will focus on the Clock Tower later tonight and see how far I can go.
Also listening to this music too while doing it, which fits well.:P
/me raises hand note: it's very picky on what it turns into pretty SotCish stuff, so you'd need to keep it turned off most of the time. thankfully, that's as complicated as pressing scroll lock. first you need to pick the vanilla version of the mod here. it's the zip on the right (SweetFX 1.3.7z). extract everything there to your GW2 folder. the vanilla mod is just a very small tweak that sharpens the game a little bit. if you want to mess around with it, just change the values on the SweetFX_settings file. to apply my tweak, just download my settings here and replace the vanilla file for it.(...)if anyone actually likes it enough to want to try it, i can upload it.

Well despite missing the special event tomorrow, I can't wait to see what Act 3 has in store. I also pretty much lost interests in the Clock Tower lol. No big deal if I don't beat it through.
i'll miss the cleavage, and frown upon striped boobs :PBrunoBRS
:P
Yeah those stripes are eh but otherwise the chestpiece looks good, and at least I having a more unique look now lol.

you need better halloween colors, like me :PBrunoBRS
Orange and Black cherry are pretty much the best I have lol.
it's less than 20 silver for pitch (the shade of black i'm using) on the trading post.Hm alright I check that out. Good that there another black color that isn't pricey lol.
I've beaten the Clock Tower like... 13 times now lol
If only there were timed leaderboards or ghost replays. Would be so grand. The hardest part is still the pause at the start :/. You have to get a good headstart in front of the pack to see where you're going through those small and uneven blocks.
EDIT:

.
She seems pretty happy.
Also, anyone know what shield this is?
And I recorded my first run of the Ascent to Madness dungeon. I managed to FRAPS it and not have my toaster oven explode. Fun time all around.

i think it's one of the craftable shields. they're nearly legendaries.BrunoBRSIt's one of the skins you get from the BL Chests / Mad King Chests.
@BrunoBRS
And Zihark was never seen again...
On a side note, does anyone know when we can expect the Party?
Need to get these Holiday things!
Also (select) Screenshots of my Adventure thus far!

Did it a bunch of times actually... It was a fun one! Got a nice dye and an exotic Trident (lvl 78 though, much better than what I had) :D. Maybe doing dungeons with my Engineer (which i ended up just deleting Inq since I was just not having any fun anymore) distorted my view about them... Necro's much funner to play with, I should doing more dungeons with Vess.@BrunoBRS

Since I just got the game I probably wont be able to take part in a whole lot of the Halloween events (I'm still in the starting Char area), but I have done some of the halloween PVP and mined some candy corn. Still lots of fun, and I like it better than the impression I got from the beta
you can head to lion's arch through the black citadel's gate, and do the dungeon there (which is only up until tomorrow). you can also from lion's arch head to divinity's reach (human city), then from there to queensdale (human starting area), and get inside one of the portals to the mad king's realm (pumpkins on the map), or do the events that unlock those portals. both the mad king realm and the dungeon bump you to level 80 so anyone can take part, and you can easily get all the achievements needed for the halloween title in one day.Since I just got the game I probably wont be able to take part in a whole lot of the Halloween events (I'm still in the starting Char area), but I have done some of the halloween PVP and mined some candy corn. lion's arch has some doors that pop up every now and then saying stuff like "free candy!" "treasure!" and other player lures. not spoiling what happens when you go inside one.

the jokes for this year are amazing. even more amazing is seeing people constantly falling for the mad king says trick. and the trick doors made me lol hard. bank has a "trading post" one for those people in a rush :PBrunoBRS

Can't wait to experience Act 4 later tonight, through sadly I won't have a lot of time with it so I make a beeline to the party.:P

Thanks, I did not know about the asura gates. I tried some of the halloween events, realized I had no idea what was going on so I went back to leveling :P. I'll probably try Act 4 later today to play Mad King Says.
Just did the Charr instance where you go behind enemy lines to sabotage catapults, way cool in comparison to other MMOs--No WoW I dont want to go collect 50 boar tusks

Because obviously WoW's quests aren't as or even more interactive and varried...oh wait. It's good that you enjoy it, but taking a single type of quest that GW 2 is filled with and any MMO has lots of it, just for the sake of posting something is just, pointless.P.S If you clear the Charr area, you are strong, the personal quests are decent, but the Charr starter and intermediary are by far the most boring zones in the entire game, quest wise.
