The game looks great, I really liked the concept and the gameplay but it is a PS3 exclusive...

I wouldn't mind, I'm a PS3 guy but the more people that can play it the better. From a technical stand point, only the PS3 and PC can handle the game, so even though it's a PS3 exclusive it could work on PC as well.

But either way it doesn't matter, this is going to be a game that you DO NOT want to miss out on. That's for sure. It's worth buying a PS3 alone for.

It looks fantastic (which is probably a given considering the engine is the most PS3 optimized engine out there with talented developers) and would look even better on a good gaming PC, but as its a Sony title it won't happen. I mean if it was Microsoft, then MAYBE it would come to PC.

Would be nice. I hate PS3 exclusives... kinda rough graphics at 30 fps, and having to deal with a controller. I wish I could've played the Uncharted and Killzone games on PC.

I think Killzone would have been a massive hit on PC. It looks great but the performance can be a tad choppy at times, while the servers and team based multiplayer would appeal to a lot of hardcore PC gamers.

But of course if there weren't exclusive games on systems, companies would have a harder time getting people to buy them. I mean a PS3 is like, $250 now? I could never dedicate myself to just PC or just Xbox or just PS3 with all these amazing games.

I would like everything on PC :P. Especially Sony and Nintendo First party games :). Then again, with how Nintendo has been lately, maybe we should leave them out :P.

Sounds like the gameplay will be a big step up from Uncharteds and it's a setting I am a fan of so regardless of it making to PC or not, I am getting the game.

I'd like to see all games on all the major platforms, but that will never happen.

Anyway, yes, it would be nice to see this game on PC. But it's Sony, and they're having a rough time at the moment - so keeping games exclusive in order to sell more consoles makes good business sense for them. I'd be very surprised if it came to PC.

I've always admired QD's adherance to deep storytelling since Fahrenheit got a PC port. I would love a chance to play not only The Last of Us but Heavy Rain too. Not too sure how likely that will be though. The company seems to be fully PS dedicated.

If not pc then on ps3 , anyhow the game looks awesome. Obviously would prefer on pc but I don't think it will be launched for pc.

Guys, you need to realize two things about petitions:

1. The Dark Souls one only worked because it was a game very fitting for a hardcore PC gamer demographic, one that could easily be ported to PC (what with Namco publishing), and because specifically it was said they would support a community that really wanted it.

2. They had a big set up petition everyone knew about and this is just some other petition about this game, not even in the news, that Sony probably won't even see or care about if they do see it.

3. Sony is publishing it, and they aren't going to devote resources porting their game to PC and risking sales losses on the PS3 when they want people buying it for the PS3.

We have Mario and Halo on PC. Would I like the newer Halo games on PC? - No thanks.:) Im sure there are a few that would welcome them, but for me personally the series is bland, boring in both story and gameplay and is very, very overated by XBOts.

I agree though, the consoles do need their exclusives, you need a reason to buy one right? PC has more than enough exclusive games to worry about missing a few over hyped games on the consoles.

Anyway, I'm not super stoked on the game. Looks cool, but I'm not hyped. My roommate has a PS3, and will probably get it, so I'll get a chance to play it. But yeah, just like all games, if there was a PC version (and it wasn't half-assed) it'd have better resolution and framerate, at the least. Too bad it there's absolutely zero chance of it happening with a Sony-published title.

Oh damnit. That is what happened. Also, yes. Seriously. Every old thread I've seen necro'd in months has been with like the first or second post from a new user. Threads should just be automatically locked after they've gone a month or so without a post.

Actually, no. Hope is totally lost. In fact, it was never there to begin with. Naughty Dog is owned by Sony. TLOU is being published by Sony. Even if that petition gets more signatures than any video game petition ever, the chances of the game ever going to any platform but Playstation is exactly, 0.000000%

I'd love to see it on the PC, though it will never happen because Naughty Dog is a First Party developer, and Sony is publishing it.

Also, they'll use the game to move more units.

The only console publisher that would even consider putting their games on PC is Microsoft and evne they seem to not care.

I honestly doubt that Sony would even consider putting one of their non-SOE titles on the PC.

Stil, if it released on the PC I would likely play it. It looks good.

Looks like a rental game. Just like Uncharted was. Very linear but very fun, albeit short games.
