anyways so my gf is turning into quite the gamer. Her and i spent a few hours playing castle crashers on my ps3. so i was wondering is there any game like that or some other type of suggestion of game that i could download on steam for we could play together? btw she lives in another state thats why i was wondering if theres any game out there we could play together via steam on pc. thnx

You can search Steam by co-op function.

Hey TC, you should look into TRINE. Its a really great side-scroller game that is almost puzzle-like in a lot of ways. 3 different characters with different abilities (you can switch between them as you wish). You have to use the character's different skills to advance past traps and beat the enemies. I played it co-op with a friend and it was awesome. We were local co-op on the same computer so I'm not sure if it has online mode though.

What about Titan Quest? A little more hardcore-Diablo than Castle Crashers, but all the basic elements are there. And it's a great co-op game. Also Deathspank and Shank are headed to the PC this month... Deathspank had a dumb little co-op mode on Xbox, maybe they'll expand it a bit for PC. Shank can be played co-op, I believe...

I would recommend the Synergy mod for Half-Life 2. It let's you play co-op single-player Half-Life 2 and episodes.kdawg88

League of Legends (not really if you both have played dota but don't see that as its rather niche compared to say Castle Crashers)

Left for Dead. One or Two. Very cheap right now. On STEAM. I paid about 11 bucks. For both. Zombies.

Depends on what kind of games you want... Puzzle, rpg, rts, action and so on...

i guess just a hack and slash game or tower defense shes pretty good at those. not so sure about fps, and rpgs though.

Personally I would suggest getting an Xbox 360, playing coop in person is always more fun :)

Madballs babo invasion is apretty good co op game. Titan Quest is nice and easy to pick up. Dawn of War 2 has Co op if you like strategy. The new worms has a good online interface apparently, and who doesnt like worms?

I just got two copies of Titan Quest Gold for my GF and I to play together, She loves torchlight and diablo2, so why not???

(though we have a lot more games we play together, C&C, call of duty, really whatever we find, she is a big gamer. (its how we met)

But anyway yeah I am installing the two copies of titan quest gold today so we can play them together Lan, when she gets home. ( we haven't played it yet but we have heard great things)

I usually buy games Digital Downloading, (sometimes great deals, and its less of a carbon footprint)! But I picked up two copies of TQ gold for under $18 Brand new including shipping from Amazon.com So it wouldn't be that much of an investment, (that is if you have 2 pcs that can run it decently)

Alien Swarm we also have, its ok we had a little fun with that, and it is free.

So I would recommend both, or atleast present both to your GF and she what she thinks about it!

Worms as well but I think it is a bit more expensive!
