Am I the only one who's getting nostalgic over XP? I hope they make a good XP theme for Win7.

How old are you...? I get nostalgiac with terminals and win3.1-win95 :P of course not anymore since I'm always dealing with them(terminals, not Windows lol)

Well, I did use Win95, but I don't miss it.. except for one aspect: http://tinyurl.com/22c6of :D . For XP, I only miss the visuals, since I've used it longer than any other OS.

I have to agree with that. Win95 had THE start up sound. They've gotten worse over the years. I wish they'd go back to the Win95 sound. Or let us use whatever we want. I'd love turn on my computer and have the first thing I hear be System of a Down.

Yeah, the Win95 start up sound was great.

Windows Vista (Beta) also originally had a nice start up sound ..no clue why it didn't make it into the final version.

No doubt, Win95 had the absolute best sound. So dreamy... But Win98's is quite good. All others are lame except for the last Vista startup sound, which is very minimalistic (not memorably, but definitely not lame).

NT 4.0 had a sexier startup sound, and was a superior OS, because I used it :D While all the causals stuck with win 95.JigglyWiggly_

Btw, anyone got the Win95 sound somewhere? I had them all in an archive, but lost it.
