Some COD:BO2 mp (Although it gets lots of hate I still think its fun online)

Started another Dead Space playthrough in preparation for DS3, decided to try out the FXAA Injector and see what it could do with DS. Still an amazing looking game considering its from 2008, all we need now is a hi-rez texture overhaul....I wish.

Rayman: Origins

Just got myself a new GTX 670 on a christmas sale, and got Far Cry 3 to test it out, AC3's gift code should come in a couple days. Card seems nice, pretty strong performance, just hope i didn't make a mistake by getting a 2gb card instead of the 3gb 7950. Also still need to figure out the fine points of how to overclock a kepler card with all the boosts and power +- stuff going on.

All good things must come to an end.......and so it goes with Far Cry 3. Oh well, there's still ME3, Dishonoured, Hitman to consider before the next big round of new games in February 2013.

Actually, I still have a lot of side quests to do in FC3 along with more adventuring like finding letters and relics.

Mass Effect 2

Oh...well..okay then.

Just some side missions, too many planets not enough space stations though. Miss the Mako too.

Didn't really like this mission. A single LOKI took an entire clip to kill, and can probably kill you in less.

Stupid mechs. Stupid squadmates. The Irony is I could probably handle one of these on my own real easy as long as I had tall cover. Just use warp around the corner.

Nice shots. Assuming you played the first Mass Effect, what's ME2 like in comparison? I'm loving Mass Effect right now but I hear they really dumbed down things for ME2. Is it just as enjoyable or what? I'm kinda scared I will playthrough it wishing it was the first.

All 3 are enjoyable games, but ME1 was def my favorite.

ME2 improved alot but also took alot of things out which sucked (the combat and controls are alot tighter for the positives, for the negatives I didnt like the story as much and ME2 lasted me about half the time that ME1 did).

Ya know what I would love? Mass Effect1 redone with the ME3 engine/improvements.

Hmm...let's see..here's what I like/prefer

Mass Effect 1

The ability to crouch (avoid fire, and increased accuracy)

Equipment buying and upgrades (in me 2, you can only buy some performance upgrades, plus a few armor component variants)

Better biotics (they have independent cooldowns, like most RPGs. In ME2, they have a shared cooldown, which is stupid)

Better levelling (high cap, more abilities, can use all level points always. In ME2, higher levels cost more points, so you can have some left over with nothing to use them with)

Citadel Presidium (the wards area of the citadel is better though)

Mako side missions on inhospitable planets (like the rachni side missions)

Crew all looks equiped for inhospitable planets (armor with optional full helmets)

Weapons can overheat, but never become unusable (out of ammo)

Mass Effect 2

More storyline-centered missions and side missions (7 recruitment missions, 9 loyalty missions, 3 or so crew missions like buying provisions for the ship's cook or upgrading some items for engineers)

More control over the outcome (shepard can die, any number of teammates can die)

More interesting locations (Omega, Krogan Homeworld, Illium, Dead Reaper, Collector bases and ships)

More interesting and varied enemies (geth, collectors, various named mercanary groups, mechs, various krogan groups) as well as variants within each group

Reloading weapons.

Miranda's ass.

Better graphics

Playing The Witcher since I bought The Witcher 2 just right now. I've had this game for a year but the beginning was so boring that I stopped playing, but once you get into the game, the world really pulls you in. I just wish the quests journal was more detailed and the combat was less boring.

yes there is, but the quality is not as good as if you use say FRAPS or something else.

BF3 looks stunning with Sweet FX(sorry if I bring it up so much, Sweet FX is just too awesome).

It feels much more natural with a gamepad. Just turning around the analog stick.

Anyway, I'm movin on with my new playthrough of Dark Souls. Answered my own question: It does have full Steam Cloud Save Game support. I installed it on my roommate's computer, and immediately had my save game from my laptop. Played for a bit on his system, after quitting it did the could sync thing, then I opened up steam on my laptop, and it did a couple seconds of syncing before letting me do anything, and then my save was where I left off on his system. Super stoked on that.

And here's shots from my roommate's computer, with DSfix at full 1080p, plus level 3 SMAA, and level 2 SSAO.

The difference is so much better in motion. Even at 720p, my laptop spends more time under 20 fps than over. My roommate's new system runs it all maxed out, with the DSfix goodies, and never breaks from 30 fps.

Realistic Lighting with Customization? I love the way this mod looks during daylight, but night time and caves are just way too dark to be playable. I know it forces you to use torches and light spells, but even with those you still cant see most of the game world.

I also suggest W.A.T.E.R. Makes all the water in the game look amazing.

WHAT?!? You cheap austrian harlot! Can I have no fun in this game? Can no crook get some tough love? Shepard was a perfect lady most of the time, so what if Fade got shot in the leg and Kelham got a bit of encouragement? This is an injustice!

I don't use much of the ammo (conveniently lying around everywhere for some reason) against these husks. Shockwave does a lot, and if necessary I get in close.

The one in the first game worked perfectly. So far the only thing ME2 has over the first are graphics and performance. ME dipped into the 20's for me sometimes and I have no idea why it ran so poorly. For ME2, I have everything maxed and a lot of AA and other stuff forced through CCC and yet it stays right at 60FPS with vsync.

Forgot how cool this game is.
And it took me 16 hours for completing the game (took my time, if i took damage I re-loaded my quick saves).

I miss the ability to crouch. Seriously, NPCs can do it, they're taunting me! It makes cover even more important than it needs to be.

I don't know why they changed the control scheme. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did rebuild most of their world it form the ground up.

I tried unsuccessfully to uninstall the free DLC a long time ago, but I finally had to find the files in the game folder to remove them. Hopefully next time she'll be more cooperative. I mean, being mad at Shepard is a sure way to death on the collector base!

Oh yes, put all of the Galaxy's greatest heroes in a tiny shuttle. Leave the normandy with a bunch of weaklings. Good idea.

I wasn't Joker's biggest fan in ME, but he was awesome in ME2!
