great list...next year will also bring out DirectX 10 and the hardware "experts" pretty much predict that the ATI and nVidia cards released with DX10 in mind will pretty much put an end to the "next-gen" consoles supposed superiority...great time to be a PC gamer anyhow
I've updated the list with GUNZ, Imerivim, Maximum-Football, DOFUS Arena and City Life. With some possible suprisng exceptions I think I'm done. All that's left now is to regulary add all new PCgames being annouced and revealed. And slowly start to work on similiar thread I will post a year from now, this time about 2007:)
Great post! Cant wait! In about a year Nvida and Ati will have made the pc a superior gaming machine again, if only more develpers did like Valve and made systems similar to steam then Pc Gaming will be foreversuperior!
Great post.  I didn't even know about some or most of those games, lol.  I just hope they play good just as much how they look good.  I did notice the long list of modern warfare games tho.

Ermm....man.Quake got 8 :) Which is what we could predict looking at Raven's track record. In absoltely worst case I expect at least 80% of those games to get 8+ and not more than 5% to get below 7. When dev is making one AA after another I think we can safely expect them to not suddenly became crappy. Sure there are exceptions(like Firefly with Stronghold2, altugh in reality the only reason for such low score was incredible ammount of bugs), but rarely happens. So yes..you can be sure that 90% of those games will be good
Wiki looks very interesting. It appears that WoW will have A LOT of competition. Most will probably be knocked out though. Ragnarok 2 looks OK, and the Pirates of the Carribean MMO looks kind of cool. But I'm very interested in Wiki.
Good to see you picked up on Formula One Championship Manager as it shaping up to be a taste sensation. Not sure if GP Manager 2 was the last good management game, Grand Prix World was pretty good??

Just a minor correction. You mentioned Crytek's follow-up to Far Cry, as "Crisis". It's working title is actually "Crysis". Get the "cry" play on words? It's also doubtful that it will be out in 2006.
A suggestion - make the image a bit smaller, and linkify (sp?) the game titles to the developers' pages. This thread should be made sticky, and GameSpot should take notice of how to present a reader with a general overview of the PC gaming for the entire year to come.

I will go back to PC gaming if the following happens: - The day that a kick ass adventure game in the like of Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Sam and Max, Monkey Island or Broken Sword(1&2) gets released - Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 or some new blizzard game which is non MMORPG gets released.
The last Monkey Island was the last great adventure game I played on the PC, Broken Sword 3 was pretty bad with all those block puzzles and since then, I'm still waiting.

Why not save the time and money and get a consol. I'm so sick of downloading drivers and patches all the time. I put the disc in my consol and it works, no upgrading needed. I love it!

Why? Hmm..maybe because from this list I personaly am Interested in about 40 PC games. While consoles...so far from all annouced next-gen games the only one that even remotely interests me is MassEffect(and after JadeEmpire I'm not so sure I will like it). Suprisingly PS2 looks great in 2006 to me..with Grandia3, RogueGalaxy, ValkyrieProfile2 and most of all SteambotChronicles. the last time I wanted so many console games was in 2000. Still..compared to PC it;'s nothing. So why not save the time and money and get a console? Simple..because there's nothing to play there for me. Each generation there are about 10-15 games that interest me...from all consoles combined. At the same timede durin those 5 years I enjoy about 60-80 PC games. Without PC there would be no reason for me to bother at all with consoles. Of course..this is a civil sensible answer. Which obviously won't satisy you , because you camed here to troll. But it is funny to see a Xbox fan do this, it must be jealousy, because 2006 360 line-up looks very very weak.

i found the PC version much more smoother graphics crispier and the EAX fx made it more loveable . i got bored of the PS2 version as i was not able to execute stunts good enough
U might think i not so good at the joystick or gamepad but i did play it on a logitech rumblepad and it awesome
i guess PC gamers paradise is gonna be more enchanting this year
