I must not be good at overclocking since at 1050MHz, my system crashes when idling.

[QUOTE="C_Rule"]Have you tried overclocking one card at a time?Amster_G
I have. Same problem occurs. The screen will turn gray and shows vertical lines across (also gray colored, just darkes shades).
Wait for newer drivers? Not all gpu, cpu are the same. Some overclock better than others whether is binned or not. Ex. gtx 570 can reach 1ghz for some, mines cannot no matter how much voltage I give it.
I finally got my new build put together! Please don't look too closely at the cable management, since that part isn't finished yet. :P CoolerMaster Storm Trooper Case ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe Mobo Intel i7-3770 CPU CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ Evo Cooler for the CPU 4x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3-1600 RAM EVGA GTX-570 GPU Corsair Pro Gold 1200W PSU ChiliDragon
You're supposed to install the graphics card in the first slot (the top one).

As long as the slot has enough bandwidth, it doesn't really matter which it is in.lol some one else said tha on the last page lol
that board has pcie3 x16 slots on it but in xfire dual 8 slot i think i just built a pc for a friend using that board
My setup Pic...
M just too lazy to open my pc case, and its very conjusted in there with sooo many wires..

Pc specifications are
Core i5 2500k, Asrock z75 pro3, Xigmatek dark night cooler, 4gb Gskil ddr3, 500Gb Harddisk, Sapphire 7950, Thermaltake ms-1 commander casing, Aerocool v12xt fan controller, Strike x 600watts psu.
Isn't that graphics card in the wrong slot?WWIAB
And yes, that's why the card is where it is. Also, if I put it in none of the other slots, the video card would end up blocking the SATA ports, and that's annoying.nope as long as he/she only has 1 gpu pluged in it will have full speed from the pcie3x16 slots

I see nothing selected... Sorry, the link died or something. Here it is[QUOTE="kris9031998"]I haven't bought my new parts yet, so can someone see if my rig is good enough? This is kinda like a final checkmitu123
if you have room in your budget i would highly suggest a bigger ssd. 64 would just be annoying to micro manage all the time. i have a 120 with very few programs on and i've got a good 30gb of room left for future programs. MuD3I don't even know if i want the SSD, to be honest. I don't care too much about boot times

Having the video card covering the SATA ports during the multi-drive shuffle I had to do to install my OS and things, just wasn't worth it. And since I'm lazy, leaving it where it is means less work when I buy a second video card to make it do SLI. It's all about convenience. ;) I can run all my games at high settings, and run them well, so until that changes I really don't see a need to move the video card anywhere. :)[QUOTE="C_Rule"][QUOTE="GamerwillzPS"]

just get a good 1tb. i recommend the caviar black... have the comparable seagate version in another pc and the WD is noticeably faster. MuD3
From reviews, Caviar black's have been prone to dying pretty quickly
I guess i'll get a samsung one, then

i've seen that in reviews for every hard drive. it will be the case for all electronics... some are just bad, always.[QUOTE="kris9031998"][QUOTE="MuD3"]just get a good 1tb. i recommend the caviar black... have the comparable seagate version in another pc and the WD is noticeably faster. MuD3
