PC crashes/shutsdown after booting - But fine in safe mode

My system is a Gigabyte P35-DS3L (LGA 775), Q9550, 6GB RAM and a 9600 GT. I have changed around the CPU, RAM, PSU and the GPU and nothing has helped.

My computer loads up into Windows and runs for a few minutes before crashing and shutting down (all without a BSOD). I have done a clean install of Windows 10 but it hasn't helped.

Should I be worried that the motherboard is going?

Could be MB, could be also the PSU (Power Supply).

Can you temporarily plug in another PSU? or even plug the PC in another wall socket/power board?

Long answer: I had a very similar system, CPU was different and I swapped everything to no-avail and I swapped the mobo as well and problem disappeared.

I also had the same problems, no BSOD, just restarted, its one of the devices that's failed and causing havoc to the mobo. In my case, a USB2 was defaulting back to USB1 standards, even though I wasn't using the port, it was causing chaos.

If it's fine in Safe mode, as the title states, it could be a driver issue.

I was having same problem. I changed my power supply and it worked. But be sure to reinstall the windows before doing so if you can and see if it's software issue. Sometimes it also happens if some hardware inside your computer is overheating.

If the problem stops when you boot into safe mode it might be a software issue. When you do a clean install of Windows did you install any drivers?
