I have a sony TV 4K already with android built in So I have Netflix etc already built in but it is quite sluggish control. Is the nvidia shield worth it still?. Really considering buying it.

I have it and love it, I think its worth it very powerful for what it does.

I have mine upstairs so it game stream games from my main PC in the living room.

It can play half decent games natively like Resident Evil 5.

Its great for IPTV and other media serivces you want to side load.

There are few negatives though, main one is its android tv so there are a fair few apps on the play store won't install on the device.

@skipper847: You can stream your Steam games and adding non Steam games to it all over your house network for free. Nvidia Shield is the same thing more or less.

Get it if you want to connect a non smart / no computer device such as old TV
