Thank you for the replies everyone! I think I'm going to give GW2 or ESO another try :D

One of the best f2p MMOs out there, no pay 2 win bullshit, you just level up with friends - you can reach top level after 2 weeks or so, depends on how much time you spend each day. Almost all classes are cool (I don't like the Defender much but that's me).
You can try GW2 as well, but your inventory will be really small unless you buy the game.
Yeah I own GW2 just didn't hold my interest back then. It's funny I tried a lot of these MMOs when I was playing WoW so it had to be better than WoW, which is not fair (I also had a strong community back then, too).
I should give it another go. Have you played it recently? Literally the last time I played it was when I bought it and for about two months after. I liked the classes, the progression, the PvE was all right.
I should note, I'm all about the PvE. Not big on PvP in MMOs (unless its an MMOFPS).

Looking for a new MMO, tried a few, have not yet really enjoyed any as much as I enjoy SWTOR, WoW, and a few others.
Was wondering how Neverwinter is. If anyone has some time spent with it and could provide some insight, what makes it good, bad, etc I'd appreciate it.
Have you played Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn? Probably the largest MMO that isn't named WoW. Is it a WoW clone? Yup, but it is a highly polished, WoW clone.
ESO is actually great now, so you can check that out as well. It has come a very long way since launch and it has some of the best PVP out of any current MMO. Also, if graphics are what you are after, ESO hands-down has the best graphics out of any MMO to date.
Been wanting to check out Final Fantasy, but Idunno...not big on the Japanese aesthetic. I can get over it if the game is good, I just haven't played a Japanese game in that vein in a long, long, long time that I enjoyed.
I played ESO, it was fun but it just felt like a less-fun version of Skyrim or whatever, the online portion did not feel necessary. But I can always give it another go. I am willing to subscribe to it; hell, I think I even impulse-bought the expansions and played it for a week (the Dark Brotherhood one).
I agree, looks pretty good, don't think it is the best (but far from the worst!)

I would probably say Black Desert takes top spot, followed closely by Guild Wars 2 and probably Eve Online. Then you would have the likes of Archeage and other Korean Grindfests, and then you get to the likes of ESO.
Like I said, ESO looks good, but it's bland. There isn't much variety on art style or map design (which all adds to the graphical department). It also uses too much greys and browns for it's colour pallet where games like GW2 use a lot more variety on that spectrum (not to mention art style, character models, map design etc is off the charts)
Yeah I tried out the free weekend Black Desert had on Steam recently, it is a gorgeous game but not really my style.
ESO does look good, but the colors are very muddled. Still, it's not terrible. Just wish the art direction was a bit better.
