Haven't played Battlefield - I dislike mindless online violence. Haven't played Command And Conquer, because I dislike real-time strategy games (I can't react quickly enough). Did I just lose my man-card?

But at least one of the games, from one of those series, should be in your shelf. Not that you lose your man-card even if there isn't. :P

Big rigs you must play this game on pc to enjoy it to its fullest this game has changed my life by boosting my self esteem with it you are winner every time i finish a race. and the developers let me enjoy me time looking at the amazing 3-d graphical enviorments by making my oppenent not move as well as removing frustrating crashes into tree and building instead i simply go right through them :D
ive never played deus ex in my life. ive thought about getting it off steam. but when i saw a few lets play video. it looked really boring with dumb ai. i could be wrong but thats what i saw. oh and horrible voices. ill wait for the upcoming deus ex game

I say every PC gamer should play some form of simulator, be it X-Plane, DCS Blackshark, Arma 2, etc. They are all integral to the Pc experience, imo...
Diablo series, Starcraft, WoW, N.O.M.A.D., Warcraft 2 and 3, Civilization 2 and 4, Oblivion ( PC better due to mod community :-), Star Control 2, Fallout series, Baulders Gate 2, and a few more I can't recall.
This thread shows the PC stands for great gaming and great justice.
Im sorry if i mislead you with my choice, but i see crysis as a clasic game. As i am only sixteen i wasnt around for some of the classic games i hear about (Duke nukem, Dues Ex), so i see crysis as a classic Title.

Oh no my friend, I suggest picking it up, I did buy it off Steam and finished playing it for the first time ever a couple months ago.....great game, and i'll definitely be playing it a 2nd time soon on higher diff and with a different style of play. Most excellent....the worst part is the beginning part.
Why must anyone be forced to play something? I can play any games I want, and not be compelled to just so I am a "PC Gamer". Although, I agree Half Life is one of the most popular games to get you into PC gaming

The problem is when you are playing Battlefield games properly it is very very far from mindless, it's quite strategic.
