Ofcourse this includes washroom breaks, coffee breaks, minor TV breaks, and taking out the trash.

Insane, no? That's what I get for buying TBC.

are people really telling the truth here? more than 24 hours?? is that even possible? or are people here really that hardcore?

the longest i ever played on my own was the witcher for about 4-5 hours.

i played gta san andreas for about 8 hours with a mate (swapping every mission), we finished the first island in that day.

In june of '99, Everquest, set up to camp Drelzna for her Journeyman boots - took me 47 hrs before i left with a pair. Never again did i even come close to playing that long again. (aside from 8-20 hr raids occasionally)

5 hours: Diablo 2, Morrowind, Civilization 4, Rome: Total War, Team Fortress 2

I never go above 5.

My would be 3 and a half days straight on Mass Effect. No sleep or food. Just lots of water, and having to pause for a few bathroom breaks. Had to crash on the 4th day. But got right back on after an 8 hour rest and a bowl of oatmeal. Continued on for another day till I finished it. Damn, that was an addictive game. Still is. Thank god for winter vacations.

Probably WoW... I played way too much of that game back in high school. It ate up all my weekends for a couple years. Quit about 3 years ago though thankfully. Recently would probably be dragon age or MW 2 have played them both for 8 hours straight once or twice.

Over 3 days during the Marshal grind in Warcraft, and nearly 5 days playing in the Unreal Editor(The Editor feels like a game too me).

I played for 3 days straight on Star Wars Galaxies grinding up my Jedi back in the day. Just drank so much coffee and then I started having really bad chest pains and they wouldn't stop all night, was trying to get to sleep but the pains were so bad and eventually I did.

Either WOW, Oblivion or TF2. I can only really play for about 4 hours then i need a 30min break or so because my body feels really weird i start acting like im high.

6pm till 5am. Played an all-nighter session at an internet cafe. We mainly played COD4 but we threw in some Half life 2 and TF2 for good measure. oh we had pizza there to, but besides that, it was straight. I remember my eyes pretty much falling out of my head but id still do it again.

gears of war continously till it ends.

Actually, how can I forget about this! I played the original Dune from about 9 at night to 6 in the morning.TheUberKnight

As for me, its a tossup between a Counterstrike session and WoW.

7 hours is the longest that I've actually been aware of, and that was on TF2 on the beta.

I used to play wow so it could be even longer than that :P

18 hours.A few different games and toilet and food brakes.

Should be StarCraft. Around 2:30 hours...

31 hours straight. I played Tales of Symphonia all the way though in one sitting.

I must have played WoW for 12+ hours on numerious occasions in 2005.

Too bad I had to get older and get more responsibilities... College Sr. :(
