Yes, I dunno if it's just for us Aussies, but normal Steam prices are pretty crap, even sale prices. The only time they're good is if a game you want is selected for a massive discount. For example, Dirt 3 usual Steam price is $50 and it's currently $37 on sale. Unless it goes on a one day sale, I'm better off picking it up at JB for $29. Same with Skyrim, usual price $90, sale price currently $60 on Steam, $50 at JB.

Do what you will, Im just saying it was a brilliant game for full price, 8 bucks is a steal. If it gets the 75% off Id feel like I was almost stealing from the devs ( I brought it back when it released). Great game nonetheless regardless of price.

Personally, I wouldn't feel that way. I don't feel like I'm stealing from the devs when I'm playing a F2P either, if you really want to support some games you can buy them when they come out and you get to play it before everyone else, but I do agree that at that price, "it's a steal".

Selling online games is almost like printing money. They get your money for virtually nothing. Selling at a 75% discount this long after release still makes them a tidy profit.

first steam summer sale for me even though I've known about it and so far I've only bought the valve complete pack. I'll be definitely be buying more though.
