As for GTA IV, I can't wait. November 18 can't come soon enough; I just want to take my copy of the PC version and rub it all over Artur's beard-stubbled face and then smash his 360 version with it.

Yes, that's what I'm going to do.

By November the GTA IV hype will have diminished. It definitely will not get a 10. I gave the 360 version a 9.5 and loved the experience. But no amount of graphical improvements will justify a 10. Fans of San Andreus are at most risk for getting disappointed, since GTA IV has much less side activities to do. But with an open mind to the new direction with more focus on story and core gameplay, you will eat it up.Qixote

I dont really think people are missing those cab missions and virtual pet stuff that much. And it is not like they have taken side activities out of the game, they have just removed the boring stuff and replaced it with something great. Like the multiplayer. And they are gonna put even more multiplayer stuff in the pc version. It is gonna be so awesome.

Not surprising it was going to come to the PC. Was a little surprised the game wasnt enough announced during E3 or PAX.

Definitely on my "must have right now" list. Cant wait until November.

absolute-effing-lutely fantastic. i'd have bought a ps3 for this particular game if my budget hadn't been tight. now that it's coming to pc, and SOON, i just can't describe how anticipating i am. this Q4 is gonna ROCK!!!

Yea. They replaced character customization with taking your friends out on dates. Quite the improvement. :P

If it's optimized, it should be extremely lenient. Something like Devil May Cry 4's requirements.

I loved every GTA since GTA3, count me in for this one.

gta4 on console is amazing, incredible if you stop to smell the roses expecially while you play.. (perhaps literally lol) .. but gta4 for PC will be the next wonder of the world, just because its more playable, right now the fighting is all auto aint and junk, but on pc its all free hand, with a reasonable chance of hitting something and doin arright in a firefight.. better control basically will make gta4 pc a 15 out of 10

not to mention higher resolution, and mods, and any content they might add or improve for the pc version

Assuming the pc version has the same save system as the 360, it's just like all the past GTA games. No checkpoints or saving mid-mission. Your safe houses are inaccessible during missions. Yes, there are a few of those frustrating "drive-shoot-fail-do it all again" missions.

Games for Windows does not mean "Vista only" ......

Crysis is a GFW games and it can run on both XP and Vista systems.

I've been wondering bout these too.......

IMO, if your rig can run Crysis and you're satisfied with how it runs/the framerates you're getting.......then GTAIV should be a piece of cake (HD space being the only differentiating factor)

My system is quite like yours and Yes, you can play GTA4 , but i don't think at High settings. Medium will be playable.

If it woulnd't run on that PC then rockstar wouldn't be selling many copies of GTA IV on the PC, it will run, but the question is what level of detail will be able to use..........
