I want FC4, but my backlog is to big, would be stupid to buy it now. Will wait for it to drop down to 5$ or so.

I'm gonna get Far Cry 4 and, if it's decently discounted, Shadow of Mordor (if it turns out alright, possibly The Crew)... There's also a ton of games I've had sitting around a while which I haven't played because my pc simply can't handle it, such as Bioshock Infinite or Black Flag D: So yeah after this christmas I'm gonna be up to my balls in videogames (especially with the Wii U too)

Edit: Also gonna get This War of Mine and Divinity OS if the price is right.

I got a little itchy and almost pulled the trigger on Ryse during this past weekends sale. I played it on XB1 but am curious about how good it will look on PC. In the end the discount wasn't big enough for me to justify buying a mediocre game again.

I have a huge backlog and don't have time to play anything.

Knowing me i'll still buy something...

Well I bought Game of Thrones and Ryse this past sale.... Should have waited on Ryse, but I am enjoying it. I think Wolfenstein and This War of Mine would be my next purchase.

I'm hoping to find Black Flag at 7.50 euros, Bioshock Infinite and Thief at 5 euros. Apart from those, any considerable discount at Telltales' Game of Thrones and FFXIII will be quite welcome.

@johnd13: I've been playing Black Flag lately and it's surprisingly good after that mess that was AC3.

@klunt_bumskrint: I really think there should be a standalone pirate-themed game(especially RPG). Not counting BF ofc. I quite like that era and I'm surprised that they're so scarce in the industry. Last one I I enjoyed was Pirates of the Caribbean(by Ubi and Bethesda if I recall). Oh well, Black Flag will suffice for now.

You also have Rogue, which is Black Flag 2.

@johnd13: You have Risen 2, which is based on pirates. I really enjoyed the game myself, but I understand its not for everyone.

The Crew maybe but I was hoping for Project Cars.

Wanted Wasteland 2, but found it on Gaming Dragons just today for $11.99 (Steam version) and I couldn't pass on that price. Considering my backlog I believe I will have to pass this sale. I need to upgrade my desktop anyways so probably a good thing.

Anyway, got a new PC a few weeks back and already bought more than I wanted in the last sale. I'd still take Borderlands, Wasteland 2, Game of Thrones, This War of Mine and Legend of Grimrock 2 though. Bring it on, Steam.

My wallet is too sore for this. Steam doesn't use lube.

I'm hoping I can get the new Crusader Kings 2 DLC for dirt cheap.

I will also get Ryse if it goes 75% off.

Nothing, really. I'm still sitting on games I already got waiting for them to work adequately (Far Cry 4 and Little Big Planet 3). Would be nice if FC4 got 16:10 support by Crhristmas. Maybe if Bloody Trapland goes on sale - I'll pick that up. That game looks really cool.

I want Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for no less than 50% discount.

Other than that, nothing specific.

I don't have any plans to buy anything. Got too many games that have been sitting there for months, idk what to play anymore. I need to start focusing on one game at a time to at least finish something. :/

Sigh... I'll probably still end up buying something... if it's cheap enough... maybe South Park. >_>

I believe Ubisoft pulled all their games from Steam.

I'm getting This War of Mine, Goodbye Deponia, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and A Bird Story. Not a lot, but I bet the flash/community choice sales will increase that list by a lot. :P

To save someone the grief, think twice about Wolfenstein. I honestly just think the game is mediocre. The premise of the game is interesting and COULD have provided for an awesome game, but the writing is awful. The game play is not innovative at all and its boring vast majority of the time. The graphics are fine but are nothing special. The art direction isn't very interesting. A few select models are sort of cool, but that's the best I can say about the graphics.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a much better game.

Yours is just an isolated opinion; why would a total stranger want to think twice from your opinion? There are plenty of others who found it to be a great game. A definite must buy for anyone remotely interested in it when has a decent sale price.

Other than that I'm just gonna play it by ear.

Tons of people love the game but I'll agree with this. I only spent a couple of hours with the game (because I didn't enjoy it) and I didn't find that much to love about it. I feel like you're even being nice about the graphics - I thought they're incredibly bad for a recent FPS title. Downright bland, muddy, low-detailed, and ugly.

If you think a bunch of ridiculous unrealistic Michael Bay action sequences add to a game rather than detract from it - then this game is for you. I just found myself face-palming consistently at the stupidity of it all. Sure, there are other elements to the game that are good that I'm not acknowledging here, but honestly I think there's enough bad stuff in it that it's a waste of time.

I will wait and see with the sale, the last couple have been kind of disappointing (although that may be because I have picked up a fair few of the big discount games in the past thus them being on sale again would not influence me to buy them, but it would for newer users). I have my wishlist so I plan on only getting games off of that unless there is something special that I have not got on my wishlist (such as an indie game that I have not got on there that I am curious about for 90% off for arguments sake). I plan to not go crazy like I have in past Steam sales, the discounts are only worth it if you will actually play the games, and whilst I have not gone in with the intention of not playing the games I have bought, I can not honestly say all the ones I have picked up have been played.

Earlier this year I went through my games list and created a favorites list that only contains games I've completed and games I would like to complete. About 100 or so games didn't make it to that list. Also went through the wishlist and trimmed that down quite a bit. Gonna stick with what I have left in the wishlist and only if the price is less than $10.00. I'm sure I'll come out with a few indie games.

--I might get Divinity: OS if it's priced well, although I don't think I'll have the patience or intelligence to play it.

--Borderlands Pre-Sequel, if it's five bucks.

--Shadows of Mordor, if I don't get it for Xmas.

I'm currently playing Wolf: New Order and it's not horrible, but not great, either. I think the main problem is that like many IPs these days, you can tell the whole thing is a pitch for film rights; along the way it forgot it was supposed to be a bit campy and fun. The previous Wolfenstein by Raven was a great romp.

Starting yesterday, all gifts bought from those region are locked. (Russia/CIS, South America, South East Asia, and Turkey). So basically Steam trading is dead. :(

@klunt_bumskrint: eh... I try to buy physical copies of everything so if I get anything on steam sale it's typically some indie thing or something otherwise not physically available.
