alright these are my last pics for the day. one is in a desert area. the other two are of a buffalo. animals are not always easy to find or get close to

Sure looks purty. Much purtier than the honestly visually unimpressive console gameplay. Still not quite Crysis purty, but that's not unexpected.

How does the game go about keeping you in the boundaries of the map? Like, have you tried going to the edge and seeing what happens? How does it stop you? Invisible wall? Fence? Natural obstacles? Threats that kill you instantly when you approach? Several, all, or none of the above?

i open fraps then choose the screenshot tab. if you notice near the bottom left you will see a tick mark in the box. when you tick it shows your fps whenever you take an ingame shot

For people who are wondering how its only 3 gigs. Its compressed it will take 12 gigs off of your harddrive if thats the recommended (prob 11 sense patches). If its really 3 gigs without being compressed thats weird lol.

No, they say 12GB because you always want extra space left on your hard drive for virtual memory. You never want to fill your hard drive up all the way.

To the person with 7GB left, you need to free up some space, particularly before installing FC2. You're already unhealthily low.

People here say it is impossible that the install folder has the size of only 3+ Gb... You know, there is the image of FC2 on the web, its size is about 3,8 Gb. Upon istallation the size of install folder is 3+ Gb. So people say: 1) this image is fake, it is not the full game, because it cannot be that the install folder of this game is only 3+ Gb; 2) well, they say, if this image is fake, and there is NO PROPER image on the web, then the game is not out for sale yet! Because if it is, someone would for sure grab it, make proper image and post on the web! ))))

Like the TC said, he got his copy from a shop with copies already in stock because he's friends with the guy who runs it, so he was able to get his copy earlier than retailers are supposed to be allowed to give the game out (even if they have it in stock). These people on these Russian E-boards are being overly cynical asshats.

And it's perfectly plausible that the folder would take up 3.8GB.

And for all the kiddies who are going to download the game via Steam at "midnight," better check again. The game won't be unlocked until 1pm EST on Wednesday. Sorry.attirex

And to answer your question about the install size, well i heard most english dominant countries are a single language install (hence why the install size is so small).when people start to get FAR CRY 2 off steam or at retail can you confirm the install size. i have a feeling its going to be different for different regions
