always physical. if digital had a lower price tag then it would be tempting. but as long as i can get a physical copy for the same price as digital i will always go physical. i kind of collect games too, so having a physical representation of the collection has a lot to do with it. MuD3All my games dont require a disc. So its just a waste of space.
For me, digital is by far the better option as it is generally much cheaper than retail copies thanks to aussie price gauging and it is far more convenient.
There is a thing called home delivery ya know.... :P Yeah, like waiting a day or more later... Nah they usually get delivered 1-2 days early.[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="Chickan_117"]If we both picked a game I'd bet that I could buy, download and install it faster than you could drive to the shops, purchase it, drive home and install it.

I'm starting to see the appeal of digital.
Only problem is my mistrust of services and their policies. I feel like Steam can lock me out of my library at any time.
I want absolute ownership of my purchase and that's hard to do with digital.
You'll be dead before that happens (with Steam at least) so don't worry about it.I'm starting to see the appeal of digital.

Steam is nice but only for Steamdeals. Dishonored for example is 50 euro's on Steam but I bought the physical copy (which still plays via Steam) for 35 euro's new from the store around the block. New games on Steam are mad overpriced.
So for me it's physical > digital unless cheap.
If you are a collector, a digital list on your computer is nowhere near as satisfying as a bookshelf full of games. I prefer boxed, and collector's editions of games I care about.
I used to do retail cos I wanted to be a collector and **** no more. I will only buy digital unless the game is groundbreakingly awesome like Mass Effect, Orange Box, Batman etc.
