Are curved monitors ugly or do you think it's just a matter of growing accustumed?

Ultra widescreen is all the rage on PC now, so of course everyone is getting curved screens. I can't stand them. To be fair, I've only looked at curved TVs. But I don't see why it would be any better with a monitor. It looks skewed, no matter what distance I stand at.

Just watched this YT video. Didn't change my mind. I feel like 16x9 is still superior for the majority of what one does on a PC. But I might try demoing some at Best Buy again.

I like them, but it's not the deciding factor.

I wouldn't get one as a tv because it poses serious problems for group seating relative to the correct viewing position. But for a PC? Sure - it's just me so I can sit in the sweet spot

The wider the aspect ratio, the more a curved screen makes sense. I love mine.

I love mine. Granted the curve isn't big on the Dell U3415W. 3800R or so. Next model, and models from most other manufactures are at 1800-1900R or so.

Would definitely consider it for my next monitor as an purchase option.

Curved monitors have become the "rage" for PCs? I'm living in the stone age with my non-curved monitors....I'm so depressed now!

I have a 29" ultrawide but its flat, not curved. I looked at the curved monitors but didnt pull the trigger on one, they looked ok though ....for work related stuff I prefer 16:9, but 21:9 gaming is more immersive
