Good day, the purpose of this thread is basically to share your favorite piece of work from a game either Trailer, CGI, in-game or concept art and pretty much give a description on what the shot evokes to you personally. Feel free to contribute, I'll start this off buds...
As seen from the Gears of War mad world trailer. I'll list a couple of points on why this shot resignates with me.
- Incredible emotion in Marcus.
- Great color palette.
- Well done lighting.
- Outstanding character design.
Some WiC shots I took for this thread...The campaign videos are simply stunning in this game and I think these show off some great CG. (I did downsize them to load faster and fit in the forums).
Perfect mood, colours, perspective and overall design. That background is amazing.
Ha, Baranga, I was going to use that one too. :P I was also going to use this one.
I love the feel it gives. Creepy, great lighting, just overall great to me. :D
Gaming computer and game itself sold on this shot alone.

Unreal Tournament 3 Concept Art.
- Great use of reds/warm colorsto articulate the mood of something threatening.
-Interesting organic look.
- Miraculous detail in the armor.

- Nice use of a blue palette to dispense a cool/cold apprehension.
- Yet again great details,
- Impressive rendering of effects like smoke, wind breeze on the snow and light.

I think this one speaks for itself. Blood splatters and great water effects. Hollow yet sinister looking surrounding. Great use of lighting, very atmospheric and overall a very haunting scene. Gives off a sense of loss and lonliness.
