nothing yet really. i think i only bought team fortress 2 and crysis this year/08. crysis is great and i played tf2 on 360. 360 version is dead so i bought it from steam and it was only like $9 so it was a steal.
GTA 4 - My current system is dual core and Rockstar was not kidding when they recommended a quad. I love this game but I can't get it to run the way I want it to and I've tried every trick there is out there.
FarCry 2 - I loved FarCry and was looking forward to this one but for some reason this game just has no soul. I wish they would of stuck with the linear open world campaign of the first game instead of the open world sandbox. The game is just not fun.
I don't think I've regretted buying any game in 2008. The only game I do regret ever buying though was BF2.
Anyway, what's wrong with GTAIV and a dual core processor? I've ordered it for PC but I haven't received it yet and I have a E4600 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo :?

LOTRO. Not even worth the $6 i paid for it.
NWN2. Like Oblivion, only worth about $5 max. Its a few years old and it still doesnt work right online.

the problem is that for 10 bucks you must remove the graphics from oblivion and the free play map, then you can pay 10 since thats how much it will worth:)

you my friend will not be able to run GTA4, i have E8500 3,16ghz and my pc struggles (i have 4gb ram, and a GTX 280) I was able to finally get GTA 4 running well but I had to overclock my C2D E6600 up to 3.4 GHz! I had to purchase a new cpu fan to do this. The good news, I increased my performance in Crysis and Crysis Warhead by doing this. I can now run both those games at native resolution on med to high settings. So in a way, I'm kinda glad GTA 4 forced me to overclock my cpu.

i dont even wanna hear the wacky reasoning behind that opinion, but it goes against what pretty much every other rpg fan thinks, so unfortunately your alone, and wacky to think such an elaborate game could sell for 10$
world of goo on the otherhand, should get 5/10 cuz its a simple little puzzle game that is heavily repetitive, and should cost 10$

i liked the game personally.. but i dunno, i think the COD franchise needs an upgrade, massive change, cuz im getting kinda bored with the same thing over and over, massive physics and mechanics change or something.. new franchise, i dunno.. just is getting old, 5 is enough i think
i don't regret buying games, cuz i still want to try them out, no matter how bad they may be. but i do dislike a lot of games. among the recent purchases, i dislike fallout 3 and cod5. i'm not loving stalker: cs, far cry 2, and gta 4 either.

Guess survival horror aimt your cup of tea Dead space was one of the ebst games last year IMO BTW people he said 2008 games not any pc game ever released for me Farcry 2 i bought it with uncharted...fc2 jsut fails so hard Traded in Fc2 for the new POP now i love this goddamn game to bits but sometimes the platforming and combat is just Fed up the quick time events fail hard it says press square..i press it and shows that i didnt....the automatic platforming is a **** sometimes

Its just getting easier with every release go back and play cod1 their was a health bar aiming down the sights wasnt as useful since their was always muzzle flash blinding your view,story was more of an adventure you start from DDay all the way to tht reichstag i LOVE cod1.they need to remake cod1 with Uo expansion on the disk IMO **** the MP
I gave up on PC gaming since I didn't want to waste money upgrading my PC (too expensive), so I didn't buy any PC games in 2008. However I did regret purchasing BF2 (even though I got it for a cheap 10 dollars) and Need for Speed Carbon.
GTA IV is not i regret because its one of the greatest game ever made , if you have a system to run it its the MGS 4 of PC.(And it was available very cheap in India about Rs. 499/- which comes to $10.5 so it was very cheap in India) Prince of Persia is what i regret upon.
