Lets assume your on an expedition in the arctic where you get stranded, a couple of your buddies have died and you have no food source, and the only way to survive is to eat your buddy or die. Would you eat them to survive?

i'm not sure, i know i'd have to if i wanted to survive but i don't know if i could.

I'll say no, but probably would.

As long as they were only work buddies I think I could, but if they were much closer to me personally I don't think I would be able to. So in that situation I would say yes I could.

It's easy to say "no" when you're sitting at home on your laptop eating a snack. It's another thing to be starving to death on the side of a mountain. People start to go insane after a while.

I read the book when it came out. They faced horrendous conditions and did what they had to in order to survive. Also, don't forget about the Donner Party who supposedly resorted to cannibalism to survive.
