'technically'?[QUOTE="SaudiFury"][QUOTE="Jazz_Fan"]lol no So happy I'm technically a manJazz_Fan
I have a penis
Everything else about me isfeminine
so your trans as well (i'm not but i know a few of the posters on here are)? i don't wanna give you the third degree, i'm just curious that's all. It's weird though. You hear alot about the woes of the unconfident men screwed over by society, but you never hear women complaining about how they can't get guys because of their lack of physical attractiveness. Or maybe they just don't complain on video game forums.[QUOTE="dkdk999"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]
only if it came with the acquisition of a pretty body.
I think it is a lot easier to be an ugly dude than an ugly girl.

What ? Do women actually complain about that ?[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"][QUOTE="dkdk999"] It's weird though. He's probably only referring to his gender expression.I'm a white, dark-haired male and I prefer it that way.
Boobs would be fun though
Edit: Oh god that sounded terrible. I meant because life was pretty easy growing up in the South as the "norm"
[QUOTE="BuryMe"]I'm surprised by the number of transgender people in OT. I'm actually surprised at the lack of vitriol in this thread. Must be the after-election shock keeping a bunch of people away, i figure. :\ normally OT's a lot more...hostile. But yeah, interesting poll results. Not sure if i take it at its word, but...interesting nonetheless. And it's nice that there are more trans people here than there used to be. I recall when the only open trans member in OT was a certain current GS reviewe, back in...jeez, maybe 02 or 03 now? Hard to recall. Nice to see increased visibility :)Yes. I wish I'd been born the opposite sex.

While there are probably some people who said yes (first option) because they are, in fact, trans*, it seems that many folks in this thread who said yes merely said so because they're either sexually curious or perceive the opposite sex as privileged in some way.Yes. I wish I'd been born the opposite sex.

I would never change my sex because I'm obviously the socially superior one >.>FightingfanI thought you were a dude?

Gender identity and gender expression aren't the same.
Plus women are more easily judged based on looks. I'd hate that.

You wouldn't hate it, if you were pretty.

But it wouldn't be a fictional character if you became them, bringing them into reality. :P
Well it would still be fun, if it was in an alternative world. That would be awesome. :)[QUOTE="sune_Gem"][QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"]I'd rather be a fictional character. ;)ShadowsDemon

Hmm...not sure really. There are so many choices to pick, but likely an anthropomorphic character.[QUOTE="sune_Gem"][QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"] Well it would still be fun, if it was in an alternative world. That would be awesome. :)ShadowsDemon

I gave you that link because it's informative, easy to read, and explains everything much more nicely than I could. But hey, it's easier to respond with a vapid, childish retort and completely ignore both my point and that article, so I understand.Anyway, gender is comprised of at least two major aspects: expression and identity. Gender expression is about how butch or femme you are in your personality, behavior, and mannerisms. Gender identity is about which gender you identify with subconsciously. For instance, feminine men are not women; they just have feminine traits. Moreover, they identify as male. Therefore, gender identity and gender expression are not the same. And so even if Jazz has feminine traits, he is still male.
